Man! You just broke down, in way greater detail than I did, exactly what I was trying to explain to my husband about J. Cole‘s role in hip-hop today.
I was really disappointed at the beginning of this beef when it seemed like Cole was about to go down a lane that I thought he had grown far past… He’s just one of those figures that I really believed had been on a journey of self improvement, and was at least trying to live for the Lord…
So even though he came heavy with “bars“… I was unimpressed. I used to consider myself a huge J. Cole fan. So, when he re-routed his approach, I was very pleased.
J. Cole only stepped out of a lane that he did not belong in. He is a lover, not a fighter. I can’t wait for his next album.
Can’t believe Christians talk like this , I love you and I pray God renews your mind
@@kinggifted5234 it's not about art forms. his music doesn't glorify god, simple
deep@@fj3571
@fj3571 right it seems like a mockery of jesus and his people to me rap was defined and built from self destruction now all of a sudden rappers want to walk away from doing there job in there mind they know they can cheat ad long as they distract us he signed up to compete he should be fired
Christian need to stop defending these people for there bad choices if they weren't ready then do nt start he acted like he wanted that but when everybody showed up now he wanna run the devil is about to get at cole for this one, I hope he did it to get saved forreal

Facts i thought the same Tim.
Cole just shouldn't have responded.
He's human.
Man this is great! J Cole did the right thing! This beef is just wrong! The man said on stage “ I pray God aligns me back on my purpose “ and ppl got made at that? May God have mercy on us!
I commend jcole as well . Let your spirit lead you, not the flesh, that’s was a true depiction of that, I hope people got the message, his flesh wanted to respond but his spirit didn’t agree so he followed his spirit. I mess with that! And I like Kendrick Lamar music , I never listened to cole but now it makes me want to checko out JCole music because that’s the type of messages I can support
Unfortunately people won’t get it they saying he’s soft and weak now
Tim from the style your rap we already know you like jay z

Kendrick definitely showed how he’s been through therapy on Mr Morale and the big steppers. When I hear us talk about music and how we receive it as of God or not I wonder how ppl felt about David’s psalms. Not everyone is familiar with relationship with God & what that sounds like it’s such a real an vulnerable place.
That juice filling up confused me 😅😂
I thought I was tired or something, like how did the juice increase 😂
So please is their kind of Music Godly
Someone enlighten me
I think it depends on how you hear Godly music. they’re sinners who make music about it and their struggles they bring God into all of their music Kendrick more than Cole Drake I don’t hear God at all. Hope this helps.
😂😂😂
I condemn j Cole!!!
Where is the apology to NONAME?
Noname herself stated time after that that there was never any beef, they peaced it up in private, had disagreements on some social issues and eventually ended up working together for charity work. I don’t think everything needs to be publicized, just because we don’t see it doesn’t mean it ain’t happen
@@mra9701
He needs to apologize publicly
@@mra9701 I didn't know that, that's good to hear.
