They were the best of friends. I was fortunate to have known & loved them both. They were Godfather's & Uncles to me😊I was to young to know of their fame which came later😊I stayed in contact with Uncle BB over the year's ❤my mother was their Road Manager for many year's They are all gone now😢Uncle T-Bone had me picking cotton for fun😄as a little girl. I stayed with him & his wife. I still carry a scar on my inner arm from dragging it across the meat counter 😮that's when I found out before blood it's white 😮😢. It's too bad we don't have appreciation of things, incidents as they happen. Thank goodness for our memory. Thank You for this amazing 👏🏿 💜 💖 video that I shared with my G-Son in hopes it inspires him❤
“As T Bone plays the blues on the piano... organ... Woah, on the guitar” What BB is saying is that T-Bone was a true pioneer on the guitar, he made the guitar a different instrument by the way he played it, and revolutionized guitar, he practically made a new instrument. BB had such a clever and funny way of saying things, from lyrics to stage introductions and adlibs, I wish the whole world could feel the blues.
"My brothers in Vietnam,.... baby." "Sisters down... in New Orleans." He knew how to communicate, as any normal guy would be worried about both sister and brother. I love this B.B. song, think it's one of his best, although this is not the best recording, or performance of it, imho. I just love the way B.B. pronounces New Orleans the correct, and as such, American way.
I don´t now why, but now I think T Bone is not as good as it was mean to be. Take a look at BB King playing the scale up and down, he flows trhough the guitar, his tone is wayyyyy better. The sensation I get is that T Bone can´t flow through the guitar.
This is B.B.'s heyday, when he actually had chops, and not afraid to wheel it out. T-Bone had a completely different style. I don't view it as a shredding contest, I just don't see it that way, man.
Man Young BB and the Master Guitarist T Bone Walker, Just amazing Blues power

If he wanted to play that way he'd probably try but he plays how he wants to, everyone has different tastes!
You clearly are not educated on the history of blues but hey!
He made BB King pick up his first electric guitar
Apples and Oranges...What's not to like. Be Thankful they were put on this earth to make life just a little bit more enjoyable.
