Thanks! this was my very first thing i ever made with a sewing machine.. just now. I made it cat shaped. Also thanks for the lidl sewing machine walkthrough!
This is great. I actually did these for the first time in my in-person sewing class last year. I never thought about these types of exercises until the teacher presented us with them. In turn, they spurred me on to learn the satin stitch to attach my own appliques.
Hi Abi.. I bought the Silvercrest sewing machine with the intent of mainly sewing on paper. Yet my straight stitch does not look like a straight stich, but rather like a straight line with punctured holes in it. The manual suggests the upper tread tension is too high yet changing the settings does seem to make a difference. Any beginner mistake spring to mind like thread too thin for paper or the likes ? We were off to such a good start thanks to your tutorial on the machine yet determined to not let my dissapointment not to get the better of me. Thank you so much for your support..

Hi Abi, thanks for the video and for using this particular sewing machine for this project because i just bought the same. Helps my learning process.
We had to do this at school. They were not as inventive as you ours were all squares. 🙏❤️💜💙
Aw. Well I was teaching my own kids and they were brutal enough to make me step up the game! Haha 🌷💕🙌🏽
