yeah 1 bit would be a square wave (or a pulse), 4bits would be distorted beyond belief, 8 bit would sound similar to how 8 bit sounds in the video, 16 bit would sound normal (cd quality is 16 bit), 64 bit audio doesn't really exist (it does in terms of floating point or in standard bit depth but it's not used for anything other than audio processing but even then it's rare)
