This was the first place I ever went in Singapore and so was the first thing I ever ate there. Soo good. Watching the ladies cycle around the steamer putting in the new ones and taking out the cooked ones was mesmerizing.

His business was much better when his stall was situated in a nearby Coffeeshop in the 2000s! Then long Qs every minute! At the current stall in Haig Road Hawker's Centre, the view is obscure & some believed negative Feng Shui factors has affected his business! However, next to his current stall is a very good & powerful Mee Goreng fried by ethnic Indian mama pundeks! But before this Inche white hat started his business of Putu Piring, there was a very fat Indonesian Fatimah selling this opposite of Palace Theatre/Ceylon Road below the overhead bridge on the side of the Prewar shophouses from 1974! Fat Indonesian Fatimah's Putu Piring was actually the original & she was his Master Guru! Inche white hat was a school teacher previously! True or false? TQ
