This warning puts me off watching this, as I feel I'm already being accused of being a potential person who can post such bad comments. There was a time when there were cut outs of a policeman in shops, to scare off the potential thieves! It was not very pleasant to be treated as a potential thief. So, I chose to never even enter these shops. It would have never even entered my mind to post something inappropriate and now I feel as I've done something wrong! I have been warned, like a child, who's being told " if you touch anything on the shelves, you'll see what will happen when we get home", leaving the child scared to even look. I do not prefer to divide the life here, into, other world and this world. Because I think it is whole. We have most likely just lost the ability to connect. Eventually there is one fact called human experience which helps us to evolve. Connecting to the other side is also an human experience and helps us to understand and evolve a lot. Who decides about what the definition of "forgetting this world" is? Who decides what truly living a human life means? These are all concepts. Concepts change a lot according to the "Zeitgeist" and shape our thinking. To my experience forgetting to live means suffering from the fear, not connecting to the other side. It is a very delightful interview. I respect Mr. Mckay and find his existence on this planet is very invaluable as much as this channel. Thanks a lot for the upload. With all the best wishes .
When my frequent romantic soulmate from previous lives died, she came through to my romantic soulmate in this lifetime (awkward) when she was sitting next to me to pass a series of messages. I enjoyed his book, The Luminous Afterlife. I expected it to re-tread familiar ground, and although it did that, there were also several "surprises" or new insights that I hadn't heard before - and I've been reading this stuff for decades. I've even been reading Dr. McKay's work for decades, back when he was a CBT therapist. He did good work then, too. I'm a psychologist myself, so I respect that. What an interesting career path! ... // If I had one gripe, it's that I get tired of the message that "it's all about love." I hear that a lot. Surely it can't be *just* about love, love, love, all we need is love. That seems too simple, too narrow, even boring. Don't we need to learn/develop other character qualities, too -- like courage, or self-responsibility, or humor, or individuation, or the ability to fight back, or perseverance, or curiosity, or wisdom ... I could keep going, but you get the point. There is more to life than just love love love, and so surely there must be more to the afterlife. It actually sounds a little boring to me, sort of an updated version of strumming harps on clouds. I want the afterlife to be about more than just love love love 24/7 learning how to love love love love... gah! :)

Emmy had an interesting question about if we are in part Devine why is it so hard to love one another. We live in the natural world (not spiritual world yet) and in doing so we take our eye off the spiritual ball. We live in a world of free choice. Materialism, greed, hate, ego, all types of self love which takes us away from love thy neighbor thinking which causes separation from each other instead of unity or oneness. The world we live in at this time uses Evil ( evil as I use it means not caring about people) as a manipulation of humans. You can’t have wisdom without Love, and a Love base thinking will bring clarity to humans who will see through the lies and nonsense that goes on in this world and we will all grow spiritually making the world a better place for all humanity.

After speaking directly with my late brother in law, the Afterlife is an absolute fact...BUT... I have no idea how to prove this to anyone. Go for a reading with a good medium if you really want to know.......LOL, most don't dare do it!
Mr Campbell needs to stay in the lab and prove his toe ... in the. Kindest way I mean that because his toe rigs true and correct to me ... I have my doubts about channeling. We know that some of the channeling avatars that Leonora Piper took on never actually existed. It seems more likely to me that one’s psychic abilities are enhanced in a trance state and taking on another persona is a ”side effect” of it. I do think it is possible to communicate with spirits but not in such a detailed manner.
Is it important what you think? We are all a collection of opinions and beliefs. It is when you figure out how to step outside of the personality fears phobias etc you become more yourself, so to speak. You may have never seen or directly experienced something, it doesnt mean it doesnt exist. You just may not have come across it yet.
i completely agree, Adam. Very hard to suspend logic and disbelief, just seems way too easy for someone to fake "channeling"... i think what you said makes a lot of sense. And i too don't discount the idea of communication with spirits... but i remain unconvinced when it comes to channeling.
The way Matthew McKay describes "channeling," it includes a variety of types of spirit communication, including contact with your own higher self. Adam, I understand what you mean--and yet I also know that a lot is possible that I haven't experienced personally.
I communicate w/ my deceased spouse, too. I have some spiritual background in these things, but it still has astonished me. I asked for proof several times and he gave me that to show me it was him.
I have absolutely zero doubt after having several stunning readings by mediums. I have been a huge skeptic but having had multiple corroborating readings, all from people who had never met me and had no way of finding out the details they gave me- I no longer doubt the after life communications by loved ones (and other "beings".)
in short, here is a physical school for the soul to grow up, and to pass on the lessons learned to others, but I don't like this school very much, a lot of stress and pain
