Orangerie, Versailles Chateau, France is filled with orange trees

The Orangerie at Versailles Chateau sits just below the Palace and is the garden where orange and other fruit trees are protected during the winter, as a very large form of greenhouse or conservatory. In warmer weather the trees in their planter boxes are placed in the outdoor garden.
The Orangerie at Versailles in the high season is the venue for special events like the Château de Versailles Grand Masked Ball, which attracts 2500 guests.
