I've been obsessed with musicians and producers reacting to BTS but it's especially been a treat with V's music. They hear things differently than the average listener and they have another level of appreciation for all aspects of a song. Tae is a rare form these days and I hope more people give him a chance!

What made this great and "tight" (as you rightly put it) was because of the fact that V really really loves this type of music. He's passionate about it and for years he's been expressing during his livestreams how much he adores soulful music and that genuine love translated into how his first mini album turned out, the live performances and this memorable Tiny Desk that not only showcased V's honey vocals but also highlighted every single character in the production, the backup singers and the musicians themselves. Nothing was forced, nothing was half-baked. Every part just fit perfectly.
