IMHO this is not about fashion and looks, though, but to honor the Navagrahas, each with a special color. - Even if the native would not look pretty in a given colored cloth, I think the Graha does not really mind about "looks" - it is more about the act of consciously choosing the color with the Graha in mind, to get in a specific mood and "Rasa" (Sanskrit: रस rasa m.) and thus connect to the Grahas energy. - Colors are powerful and work on the mind of the native. I would rather care about the colors of my walls with respect to my activities in that room I am spending time in and conduct a special activity there, other than care about to rank high on any list of fashion-related bullet-points. Fashion is "rajasic" (from "Rajas" (Sanskrit: रजस् rajas n.)) in nature but we ultimately try to establish "satvic" mood (from "Satva" (Sanskrit सत्त्व sattva)) with what we eat and consume, with what we do and how we act and also with what cloth and colors we wear. - 🙏🕉
@@RenePatrique I offered the comment as she said she would LOVE to be able to afford to do a course or have her colours provided for her. You can ramble on with ‘your humble opinion’ but it was a kind and free offering to this lovely woman, that said she would like to do this, but didn’t have the funds.. true spirituality is compassion and awareness. You have just judged and imposed negatively into a comment that is not directed towards you at all.
That's interesting that you mention purple being one of those colors everyone can wear. Given that it can go lavender or intense, red-violet, eggplant/shaded, or blue-violet, no wonder.
@@RenePatrique One of my instructors, who is Dine' made the comment that part of his culture is wanting to make everything beautiful. I suspect there isn't a culture that doesn't appreciate color and some form of beautiful clothing or design objects. It isn't just vanity. It can be at times, though. And yes, it can be helpful to pick the color of the days clothing based on the planet ruling the day, of the planet's friendly planets.

I recommend the Nrsinga-Stuthi prayer offered to Lord Nrsinga by Sanideva in the assembly of Lord Brahma after Hyranyakashipu was killed. I recited this prayer almost every day in my last Sada Sati. My spiritual life woke up again.
Oh my. I had to post this as 1. My Saturn is 6th from my moon, and 2. My neighbour, who offered to help fix my bike, literally whilst I was listening to this video, just called to return it to me, not only fixed, but he had also given it a complete overhaul! Thank you for your readings. Just get the "Color Me Beautiful" book. And..everyone looks good in some form of turquoise color or a pink. It does get a little complicated between what looks good vs what color goes with what color corresponding to the day in Vedic terms. Check out the book from your library, maybe even on line. Last week I saw a set of cards on line in all the color seasonal groupings that a person can buy and hold up to their face to figure out the color thing for themselves. ( FYI: Color Me Beautiful refers to the color groups by seasons, then it goes into subgroups.) I think that yellow you're wearing would be for an Autumn person. Someone with a lot of yellow or golden brown in their skin. The color henna green would also be in that group. So would brown and orange. Both have that yellow tint to the color. Summer color group has a noticeable pink tinge to their skin. The thing about Summer group is they look really great in blue chambray work shirt color! Winters look good in black, white, red, greens with a blue tinge to it. Winter people tend to have darker hair and it goes grey earlier than others. Springs ...well they look best in a lighter palette. I can't remember but it seems like for the Springs, as long as it's pastel, they can wear it, including pastel yellow. A friend of mine from long ago did that professionally. I am guessing that by now there are other companies that do the color analysis too. Another more general way is look at the veins on the inside of your wrists. If they are blue go for cool tones on coloring and silver or platinum jewelry. If the veins are greenish go for those warmer tones, the henna green, orange, Dijon mustard yellow,gold jewelry. If you have both color veins, that's a neutral in skin tone. But that doesn't say much about what colors would look good on you.

From my very little learnt Jyotish remedies, yellow is the colour of and for jupiter. I have always thought that surprising but anyhow I need to enhance jupiter and the sun in my chart and funnily enough have always enjoyed wearing yellow.

Virgo AC, Sagittarius Moon. April has been such a tough month, no wonder with Saturn-Mars. I don't feel anything positive about the Saturn transit now. :( I just hope that May will be better. I will go on travel on 19 May, when Sun will be in the 9th house.
