Some people are definitely ungrateful. It’s those in between who are thankful & appreciative that make it worth it.
Homelessness is a difficult situation to deal with and can really leave you feeling constantly tired out mentally and physically. Even if people may not outwardly show their gratitude, they might feel it inside. I've heard of people who've been homeless in the past and have had others do nice things for them. They may not say thanks or express their appreciation but those acts of compassion really meant something to them at the time.
I think some of them are just tired. But it’s okay, maybe they’ll get better happier more grateful later in life.
@@ghostbird92 Exactly. These people are in supremely difficult situations, so it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that there's this lack of positivity about them. But more importantly, even if they are ungrateful, that shouldn't stop a pure-hearted person from helping out.

This young man spends a lot of his time cooking for the homeless. Then spends more of his time passing it out. For those haters that say he keeps some of the donations for himself SHUT UP. There's products, gas, drinks, paper products, etc.

I absolutely could not agree with you more. He also doesn't have that many subscribers so he's not making that much he gets a few donations, he spends a lot of money on very quality ingredients. And you can tell how passionate he is and it's very time-consuming.

I had to go to the food pantry years back after I lost my job and there were women fist fighting people over Gatorade!! I walked outside after getting my stuff and they were in a BMW!!
@@yvonne8786I was a grocery clerk back in the 70's, when there were paper food stamps. Some people would make them stretch buying essentials and some would come up with filet mignon and lobster. Then go get in their Mercedes.

@@Kr3wKaliwhen you added the whipped cream in, you should’ve done what’s called “folding”. By mixing it with the beaters you took all the air out of it leaving it flat. Try to fold it in next time and be amazed by the difference!

It is one reason I kept coming back. Others give money and do things half heartedly.
Him and his mom should be extremely careful though, it’s only a matter of time before that lunatic comes around the corner and tries some shady ish. You stay around those places long enough, that’s what is gonna happen.

Very very grateful for kind souls like you. Just a tip from someone who’s also been helping with the homeless: be very strict on 1 each. I’ve seen a few people walk away with 2 each, and it can get quite nasty if someone sees someone with more than them.
It’s also hard to keep an eye on it but a few people come back for seconds.
As you grow bigger you might want to take on a few “employees” as volunteers

My friend allowed me to sleep in the garage cuz I am currently homeless but I give back to people that are less fortunate than me so thank you for doing what all you do young man
I pray your situation has gotten better. I was homeless for 5 months, many ppl let me get rest out of the cold , I reside in Michigan. By late November a couple that I’ve never met before took me in. I’m so grateful to them., that was 5 years ago. Since then I’ve gotten my life in order.

Dennis always tells them that once everyone is served, they can come back for seconds, so it's not at all that they're "taking advantage"; they're hungry!! Try to imagine being so hungry because you hadn't eaten in a day (or longer). Try to imagine not knowing when or where you might get access to food again. Try to have a little empathy instead of hatred for those who are so hungry and so unsure about where their next meal is coming from that they want a double helping.

As someone who has experienced homelessness as a teen I adore your channel!! Its so unique because you make most of the food yourself! Alot of time and energy and love goes into these videos and that cannot be overlooked!! I really enjoy watching your content! The videos you make are so inspiring!
