I don't know if they really all worked on this together since it is actually based on an 1981/82 japanese anime there should not have to be that much work to be done on the first place, I'd guess.

I like to think the Shadowform change was because they realized the priest card pool would be very small in standard and you'd be able to get 2 shadowforms somewhat easily in Miracle Priest builds using cards Sethekk Veilweaver, but the more likely reason is that they didn't want to give priest enough damage to make it a control priest meta, because we all know how fun those are.
it would be aggro priest and if I remember correctly the change was because shadow priest dealing damage was not a suitable archetype. I actually think they should unnerf shadow form or have a way of upgrading it
You need 4 clockwork automaton for around 32 damage with a 2 damage hero power right? Is it possible with a Shaman Charged Hammer and the various neutral clone cards?

Just need to add thief cards to this deck, play against a mage, high roll for a Reckless Apprentice, make sure you get all the correct mana reductions through Palm Reading, and combo with at least 2 minions on board for the instant double achievement. Eazy Peazy!
Seems odd that people want a good shadow damage deck, so Blizzard decides to nerf one of the main cards for that. Especially when they make it so much easier for other classes to do equivalent or more damage. Shadowform was difficult to play both, so why nerf it?! WTF are they thinking over there?!

i just thought of a really dumb otk doom hammer two turns in advance zentimo storm strike storm strike FACE and if you cant get the minions go with doubled battlecry terrorguard escapee or something or just play it on your own minions
the "funny" thing is: most players are angry about cards like dinomancy? (the hunter heropower card^^) that the second copy do nothing. and they all say it should be like shadow form. Blizz seems to heard that just the first half^^
maybe try to generate thath 1 mana mage minion which give +2 damage to hero power . then do the same comboXD thath will be 500 damage combo:P( i am sure its realy easy to generateXDDDDD)
I think the reason they changed Shadowform is because 3 damage is actually kinda annoying as it sets the inevitability in Priest. Imagine infinite card generation *and* getting hit for 3 every turn.
@@matthewraynor7573 One word: breakpoints. It takes 10 turns to reduce from 30 to 0 with the 3 damage hero power. It takes 15 turns to do the same with 2 damage. What's much more likely to kill you? Now imagine adding an Alexstrasza to the mix. You save yourself a few more turns.
They should really change shadowform back honestly, nobody runs the card and the only time it gets played is when it's discovered and the other choices are bad, but that's rarely the case.
I mean, the shadowform nerf makes sense, it was run in every priest deck and getting it in your mulligan made the win rate like 100% plus it was just unfun to go agai-BAHAHAHA I'm sorry I couldn't keep it going any longer, Blizzard has no clue what they are doing

Because the problem isn't just that you don't do 3 damage, but that you get super punished for running more than one copy of it because the second is a dead draw. But then if you only run one, you're much less likely to draw it early on. What is blizzard smoking??

They nerf shadowform but give mage wildfire which is literally just shadowform with a different name.
Wildfire is a better shadowform because it doesnt cap at 3

Can you not use a second shadow visions to reset your hero power and shoot one more time? Thus doing over 500 dmg instead ? (Just for the achievement)
The only time I've seen Shadowform in Standard was me playing Ping Mage. My Wildfire got Yogged into a Shadowform.

Velen and Automaton do the same thing - you could swap Automaton for Velen and the combo stays the same, just needs the extra set up

Yes, that was a waste they changed that. They should have buffed Dinomancy making its second copy more viable.
You could have gotten 256 x 2 in one turn if you hit a minion and then used a second shadowform on face
