I think you may have misread the change at 8:02, Hyde's charged 5FF can now go into EX moves. I'm pretty sure both versions of 2FF were always special cancelable.
Just want to point out that for a lot of characters there was stuff like "hurtbox of j.C reduced downward" and you read that as he HITbox being smaller, when it says HURTbox. These aren't nerfs, they are actually buffs to make them slightly harder to anti-air
39:40 it reduces recovery for specifically the charged version of force function, so when before he would need a cs to confirm from full charge he can always confirm (I believe)
correction about Yuzu change (29:38): when Yuzuriha uses her Force Function but doesn't complete the attack she refreshes her stance markers. So 236b~6x whiff > 236b > force function cancel will refresh everything. so as long as she holds onto a C or B marker, she can refresh everything at any point and adding jumps allows her to effectively maintain stance indefinitely... it's quite an interesting change in addition with everything else it seems like they really want her in stance more??? it's strange
For 48:30 about the divekick, the official patch notes said "when using air down+C when close the the opponent, it was easy to fly over and miss, so the attack hit box has been expanded backwards to prevent the attack from missing even if the opponent dives forward, inproving the strength of the move." Its a Buff, but in the summarized section right below the box, it says the hitbox was reduced backwards. I think it was just a typo though, as j.2C would often miss in combos for me at what felt like random outside the corner before the patch
Glad to see Kuon’s 236 A isn’t as safe anymore. That was essentially my main gripe about him. A tragedy about the 2FF, but as a Yuzu main this patch is good eating
Just hoping we get a micro patch to fix the issue with full cash outs doing more damage if you have health and less damage if you have low health. Seems unintentional and an issue new to this patch but other than that i'm excited !
