The city center could be different, but I strongly recommend you to get out of the town and experiencing the gardens and mountains. Especially at the end of October, you can see really beautiful autumn leaves.

You should hit Insa-dong! A lot of cultural nick-nacks to browse like hanboks, artistic pieces like a vase and Korean instruments. Also, there are a lot of small startup shops that make unique things. Definitely worth a look while you're in Seoul.

Hello! If you are still in Seoul, I would highly recommend going to Jogyesa! And Yeouido Park will be beautiful a little bit later in autumn :) Have a great trip!

Some differences between the forbidden city and Korean palaces, there is no tree in the forbidden city, where all the roads are paved.
    There are reasons for that...

The first protest you saw while passing the Gwanghwamun area was about the several crimes that the ex-provincial governor of Gyounggido might have committed(highly potential) during his term. He was also the candidate of presidential election from the deobureo minju party(He lost). Btw, Have a great trip to Korea.

@@CalamityTravels Korean conservatives love the president Trump. It also means the strong alliance btw Korea and the US (since the majority of left-wings in Korea are showing anti-US). Thanks.

@@CalamityTravels well, i think they were saying lee jaemeong is a sociopathic lair, (he was the opposed progressive party leader in this year's election) and signs said arrest lee jaemeong and moon jae in. (Which was the last progressive party's president) as any presidents do they have lot of controversies, although they both are not a current president, so i don't see why our public would *particularly care right now that they are a piece of shit and should be persecuted and punished anyway? Especially when Our current conservative president seems like he wants to throw off the public's general opinion rn.

@@CalamityTravels Most of Koreans aged up to 60's are against the current administration.
They come out at night with candels.
Over 60's, right-wing religious group and some with military background support it.
They come out during the daytime. They are the ones you saw on this video.
