Foreigners visit the coolest neighbourhood in Seoul; Hongdae where we try some amazing Korean street food and see some amazing street performers on the streets of Seoul. Do not miss our trip to Hongdae, some amazing sights are seen here or is Hongdae really just overhyped and there are better neighbourhoods in Seoul?

Petty theft and violent crime are very rare in Korea. You can leave your bag somewhere and it will still be there when you get back

하~ 벌써 호떡의 계절이 왔네.
I'm Korean and I've never seen a hotteok like that. Traditional hotteok is crispy but soft on the outside and inside is filled with sweet goodies and served hot. That fried chicken looked a little weird too and didn't look spicy at all, lol. There are many great fried chicken restaurants in Korea with many different flavors. Anyway I hope you guys are enjoying Korea.
BTW you should check out Gwangjang market for great street food.

화면에 나온 홍대(서교동)는 복잡하고 조금 지저분한 한국의 지극히 평범한 거리로 멋진 곳은 아니라고 생각해요. 서교동 옆에 있는 연남동이 더 낫습니다. 연남동은 주택가와 예쁜 카페와 다양한 식당들이 혼재되어 있어서 더 분위기가 좋고 서교동 처럼 복잡하지도 않습니다.
Really? Coming from the UK, we don't have many streets as vibrant as what we saw in Seoul. It's great that you guys have so many 😊😊

There are two type of Hoddeok. Your one is dry Hoddeok (less popular). But the popular one is fried wet one.

Oh no! What is it then? We were told it was hotteok!
@@CalamityTravels we call it chinese hotteok or “golgal” hoteok which means bluffing hotteok, because it has vacant space in it.
authentic hotteok is the one panfried on a oily pan and full of sweet cinnamon jam and sometimes other stuff such as nuts.
