Great idea. I have an MF sorc & some of my wished for items for her are a high MF + 10% FCR ring & a ring with 31%+ MF to replace Nagelring. Those could just as easily be blue as rare!
I remember 3 socketed 2 to shadow masteries with 30+ mf, if I am correct. To bad, I knew nothing about the game. I think that kind of roll will never happen again for me :)

Another interesting topic you could consider making video about would be crafted items that can be best in slot. Like caster amulets or boots, blood rings, hit power gloves, safety amulet, etc.
2/20 Barb Circlets are actually used by a variant of the Goldfind Barb that are aiming to get to the 37% FCR breakpoint (20 helm / 10-20 amulet / 7+ on the belt, when not using a 20 roll on the amulet) for smoother teleporting and casting in general. A god-roll on those would be something like: 2 barb / 20 fcr / all res / goldfind / 2 open sockets / teleport charges (if you don't happen to have teleport on your amulet).
I had almost forgotten about Sorceress Orbs like that, so many cool possibilities for unorthodox builds too!

My Bowazon (strafe) uses a Rare Amulet: +2 to Amazon Skill levels, 5% Mana stolen per hit, Cold Resist +36 (and some other meaningless attributes) I was so happy when I found it :-) She's also using a rare Tiara: 30% Enhanced Damage, 7% life stolen per hit, which I gambled.
Awesome video! Think you should've also mentioned +2all +2Jav and Spear skills 40 IAS javelins with other mods! Also up there with things you probably won't get, but can also be amazing pvp or pvm!

Mad to think over the years, whether we just played single player and/or just started playing the game, didn't think these items were worth anything (like boots or pelts, I never used to picked them up) or just missed them all together and are just lost to time and may never drop again. Thats the beaut of diablo

I just found a 5 LL, 15 dex, 21 Mana, 31 cold and 11 fire/lightning/poison res ring; I really have no clue if and how much it is worth or how / where to find out / trade that kind of stuff.

I just got circlet: 2 to druid/20fcr/2 sockets and i put 2 jewels with 15 all res+ 7 fhr. So in total has 30 all ress and 57 to lighting and 14 fhr. Just an epic item!
Found a +2 sorc 20 fcr +3 fireball rare orb. And it's just so beautiful.
Most questionable position in this top, as Hart of the Oak give +3all(including battle orders) resistance, fcr etc for me it gives way more advantages.

@@6runge Yeah but he's saying his hoto gives bonuses to his cta. When you "w" you lose either the cta or the hoto.
3:40 5bo helmet is mainly for prebuffing. So it doesn't need to be that insane to be useful, just 5bo blue is super good. Other stats are mostly style points, but some people will pay crazy runes for it.

i find a lot of cruel/fools mods both together on claws and maces, but never eth or with self repair at that. didnt even know u could get the self repair.... that changes so much now on what i need to think about keeping or trashing
Hey, I'm a big fan of your videos. I wanted to ask you about a rare coronet I got - 2 paladin combat skills 20 fcr 29 strength 17 all res and some enhanced defense is it worth to keep for hammerdin and maybe what value it would have. Thank you for your informative videos.
Need to do one with magic items too, not only rares. Those are prob the most expensive items in the game too... 5-6LS claws with IAS, 5-6 to java and IAS javas, jewellers stuff (helm with frw, the famous Jmod, armor with hp), etc.
in my opinion rares have the potional to get me more survive abillity. magic items has the potanial to get me the most dmg. (Rare pelt: 2 druid 3Nado FHR, ress ,life ,strenght ) ( Magic Pelt: 3 Elemental 3 Nado Maybe with FHR Or LIFE ) I LIKE MAGIC MORE THEN RARES ( RARE BOOTS ARE THE BEST)

Love the videos you make, keep it up! question about rare boots. I found this pair that has no frw but other than that they're pretty sick. 10 fhr, 19 fire res. 39 lightning res, 39 cold res. 46 gold find and 19 magic find. I'm thinking they're as close to best in slot i'll ever find for a tele gf/mf barb. Is the frw so incremental or would these actually be valuable?
If you tele everywhere then frw is rarely relevant (except mana burn monsters). But honestly besides the light res you will get better boots as you keep grinding
I gambled a 2/30/20 paladin circlet in sp, absolutely crazy. Unfortunately it doesn't really have anything else good. Will help me get to 125% fcr once I replace my spirit with a hoz.
You can also find 3/20 magic gloves if you are okay with sacrificing resistances

I found an orb: 2 all skill 3 Blizzard 2meteor 2 lmast and some good adds, this reminds me to ask, how many +skills are passable on a rare orb/wpn?
Is there a video on paladin shields? I feel like I have no idea the value of all the paladin shields that everyone wants. Especially in terms of pvp. How much ed is wanted? Do you want ar or fbr/ebc? I have like 4 paladin shields magic ones with 40+res 40+%ed 4os... 4os 44 all res targe lvl 3. How much are these worth? I've looked up online. Can't seem to find guides on these types of shields.

jewelers monarch of deflecting (aka jmod): 4os monarch with blocking
jewelers archon plate of the whale: 4os ap with 90+ life
artisan's diadem of speed: 3os diadem with frw, can also be tiara
lancer's matriarchal javelin of quickness: 6 jav skill with 40 ias
for physical bowzons I really like passive and magic skills way better than any + bow skill items. passive and magic gives you attack rating, penetrate, evade, dodge, etc. All worth way more than an extra arrow.
Got a small charm with 3+ max dmg, 19 atkr and 11 life 🤘🏻
For a physical bowazon I would use a good 2/20 passive and magic gloves. Peirce, penetrate, dodge, evade, etc.
Found a yellow grand matron bow with +2 skulls fools mod and a few other things, would that be valuable or does it not matter as much in bows?
Kind of off topic, but I have a question. I have some eth titans and I’m making a javazon. Someone told me if their quantity reaches 0 they will “break” and no longer replenish quantity, rendering them useless. Is this true? I found a site discussing this and people said it was fixed at some point in a patch.

barb helmets -> 5bo viso-mod 2sox etc. (u kinda played them down by showing just a 5bo one in the video even tho they are actually BiS with additional mods)
rare claws -> either a insane fools-claw or a "simple" trap claw bouth deserve a mentioning in this video

I actually found a 2/20/30 Assassin circlet with mana and socketed with Shael for FHR.
I'm one of those that loves finding 300%+ ed rare weapons. Just because nobody else is going to have the same thing. Feels bad that 99% of them don't roll Fool's or Quickness though.
My favorite thing from original D2:LoD was 292%ed Cruel Tmaul that I dual Ohm'ed, so close to 400% when it was done.

On Diablo2io I saw a +2 Paladin 20 FCR very high Life and Mana and other good Stuff. It sold for somewhat 3 Ber+ there and one Guy mentioned, prob the best Circlet for Paladin ever found...

I found a 3 to cold skills 78 to life magic ammy. Used it until I found tals, found it super early too (i forget where, but before I finished hell for the first time)
I dropped 2/20/3 blizzard/light rez/mana sorc orb on normal baal as my first upgrade when I started Bn d2r. I still use it now on my lvl 90 sorc

Rares can be excellent. Like the +3 lightening skills ammy i swapped my tals for. Dont need the 33 light res and i will trade the small amount of mana and life for an extra 1200-1300 damage.
Agreed. Just recently switched to a magic +3 pally combat skills/ +15 all res ammy i found casually. Not all that GG but a big upgrade.
You can't get 3+ on a rare though lol

Echoing the video comment below on magical items worth keeping. I stashed two magical sorceress weapons for possible future use that I'm not sure are worth keeping and/or adding sockets to:
1) Indestructible, +1 Hydra, +2 Blizzard, +1 Glacial Spike, +21 Life
2) +2 Frozen Orb, +2 Chilling Armor, +1 Blizzard, +10 Life, Fire Resist 14%
I have similar items for other characters I might try in the future. Or maybe they're just worth trading. Not real sure. I held them based off your vids and what seem to be solid skills for builds.
I should note. That of your (Dbrunski) videos I've watched and other D2 vets... you guys seem to know within a few seconds of looking at items whether they're trash or not. I'm just looking for that same level of knowledge so I can declutter my inventor and not waste so much time staring at items lol.

Dear D2R community, need some advise. I am playing a socress in Hell Hardcore.. I am struggling in priorities for character points. Is it more important to have higher life or shall I max dex for higher blockrate? Is there any material to inform? Google search wasnt helpful to me...
rare claws can be a thing too, but in the category of sorc orbs. 2traps 3LS 3DS 40ias 2os 30single res 15str would be the theoretical max stats possible. they beat magic 3/40 claws with the same argument you made for 2/20 java gloves imo

Little disappointed you didn't talk about belts. Couple of weeks ago i found a 24fhr/20str/40life/cr/lr/fr belt and it sold for 800fg. (i could have gotten more but wanted to sell it) A belt like this can spawn up to 30 str and 60 life, a top tier dueling belt can fetch quite alot.

As I'm playing and forum searching and reddit searching I'm only just finding out about that I should be picking up blue monarchs and stuff like that. Didn't even know they were rare worth 20k+ fg on jsp. That'd be a good video.
Rare rolls should have the potential to beat out runewords and uniques. It's why the itemization in D2 is better than D3 where everyone wears the same thing. The ladder is all clones mostly. Personally I think they need to either 1: get rid of OP runewords or 2: increase power of rares so people will actually pick up and use rare weapons.
I remember when I was playing on original bnet, I had this insane pally circ.. like everything you wanted in a circ.. 2 skills, 20 fcr , strength, all res, life, and I used my Larzuk quest to put an um rune.. so I ended up with like 30+ res on my circ.. wish my account didn’t expire I had so much good stuff smh

I have a 6% 6% dual leech ring with 12 fire and 29 cold resist that is waiting for my fury druid to eventually get to 74. It's useless for the wind druid who found it.

Some crafted items trump even the rarest of rares. This should be in your next coming videos.

About the rare weapons, yes, Grief will be better than most of them, however, Grief is banned from duelling, so if you find a good rare it can worth a lot

Used a +5 blizz 20fcr wand for a while till i found a vex for hoto wand is still nice for pure damage though
