Doing cardio whilst distracted is legit. I once walked back and forth in my room whilst playing on my Switch and hours flew by. I'd clock 8-12 hours a day which was too much and lost about 20lbs in 2 months.
I did some tests lately and a flat treadmill run for 20 mins with a 5 min warm up on level 5, and my HR was around 118. Same thing but incline level 12 walking, not running gets my HR over 130. Probably a little harder, but less painful and better for your joints. Cardio hack 👌 Great content Joe
Joe is awwesome...love his channel....not too much scientific bullshit and incorporates the psychological which is everything when it comes to fitness...I do alot of cardio and its spot on..i use music and podcasts and find it easy but if u ask me to sit on a bike for 1 hour no music nothing...i would find it hell...do the cardio you enjoy whether it is walking running rowing or whatever

Finding cardio that you love to do is key. Sure, I could burn more cal jogging, but I love biking and want to do it all the time. I have to force myself to got jogging, treadmill or anywhere else. It’s just not fun. For distraction, I recommend a Zwift setup.

I feel like I'm listening to my buddy teach me things, with a few sprinkles of man-science (as opposed to, bro science, but you mansplain it... jokes). Also, it doesn't hurt that your physique is beautiful to look at but attainable (realistic) looking, rather than someone like Henry Cavill.

Tip for cycling, pedal easier than you think you should going up hill (it will be very slow), and harder than you think going downhill (yes you should pedal going downhill). If you have a power meter on your bike you'll already know what I mean. This keeps you in the correct zone for fat loss, allows you to go longer and recover quicker. Most people coast downhill which is burning no calories then go way too hard trying to get over the hills, this just burns your glycogen stores and is harder to recover from.
