Hybrids are a Toyota reality. We have to accept it or leave it. Thanks for the review.

Very nice, I think Venza days in NA are counted, Crown Signia will likely replace Venza. I hope availability is better than the current situation.

@@carhelpcorner I would love the new camry but I currently have my 2020 Corolla LE with 40k km or 25k miles which I had for 3 years and will be done paying for it on 2025 so as long as I maintain it the way I do I don’t see getting a new vehicle.

That Signia is beautiful. For about 5 years Toyota concentrated on making ugly front ends on many of their products, adding cavities and other unnecessary features that simply added drag and cut efficiency. Great to see that they're moving away from that. Perhaps Honda will offer a hybrid Passport to compete with it. I'll seriously consider buying a Signia if they can ramp up production.

Sad the TRD Camry is being discontinued, especially since the head of Toyota was saying he was a 'car guy' at heart. Maybe it will be some hybrid option with 300+ hp

Camry Hybrid. Topgun old school transportation device. #1. 💯
The improved interior design, limited models, additional towing capability, and additional HP will be the same in the all new redesign 2025 RAV4. 😊 👍

Exactly. Those engines and new infotainment design is creating a clearer picture of the new RAV4.
Let’s hope Toyota can make a few. By far the company’s biggest issue. They are the best and people want their products.
Trending in the right direction! 👍

Pretty sure Toyota is axing the Venza (yet again!) to make room for the Signia. It's still a really crowded space for sure with its own products competing with each other, but maybe it's a way to divert consumer demand? I.e. if no Rav4 hybrid available, then perhaps they will consider the (Grand)Highlander, Corolla Cross, or Signia?

0W-8 engine oil. Where can you even buy that?

    • @carlovanrijk4039
      @carlovanrijk4039 Год назад

Korddxl, i’m thinking it’s a Japan originated oil….not widely distributed here in North America (maybe thru Amazon?). Because 0W - 16 is more readily available here, hopefully Toyota will make that allowance.

I will be glad when Toyota decides to do away with their Fugly front grills. I’ve never liked them or the hourglass grills on the Lexus, but that’s just my opinion.

    Shari,
Do you know if Toyota will be dropping the Venza since they have the new Crown SUV?
I think that Crown SUV is Gorgeous but I’m not liking that even though it’s an AWD, it’s still FWD bias. That means that it won’t have as much traction as the Subaru Outback.
We Love both our Outback and Forester Touring models, but after driving Toyota’s for 40+ years, it’s still hard making the switch.
If Toyota would adopt Subaru’s legendary symmetrical AWD, which is superior over every other vehicle on the road today, we would go back to Toyota.
Every AWD or 4WD Toyota that we’ve ever owned, we had to put studded snow tires on every winter to help us navigate through the 5-7 feet of snow we get every winter.
Yet with our Subie’s, we were able to drive on our factory All Season Tires year round until they wore out.
We chose Michelin Cross Climate 2 tires for both of our Subie’s.
The Cross Climate 2 tires have proven themselves to be Amazing on dry, wet, slushy, snowy, logging and forest roads.
Our Subaru’s have awesome traction, but the Cross Climate 2 tires cause our Subie’s to be planted on the ground.
Enjoy your day, Shari and thanks again for your great reviews.

I believe Toyota will be dropping the Venza for 2025 to make room for the Crown Signia. It will still use an electric AWD, which is certainly not as capable as Subaru's AWD, but still very good. The electric AWD is also maintenance free which is a nice bonus.

"All new" Camry might be a bit of an exaggeration, given that it's basically the same body with new front lights and taillights. I do like the new interior updates, they were overdue, and the gas mileage on it will be insanely good.

If I was a Toyota buyer in 2025 I would probably go with the Corolla as I am not fond of Hybrid cars. In my opinion Toyota is making a big mistake only offering the Camry as a hybrid model.

The more electrified the vehicle, the better the mpg, the more economical to run. Toyota is doing the right thing of electrifying all their vehicles.
