Today there is no reason not to hire a licensed real estate agent to sell a houses even if it is in bad condition. This way your house will get the highest and best offer and your realtor can make sure the offers and buyers are legit. There are plenty of good investors out there and most of them work with realtors. Realtors will take these listings because ugly houses are in demand because there’s profit there.

A common practice in the industry is to buy houses in “Land Trusts” which is done to hide their identity

I'm hoping you'll touch on the obvious racism in targeting. My neighborhood is older Italians, Puerto Ricans and African Americans with a growing immigrant population. The signs struck me as strange because there were literally no "ugly" houses. The neighborhood is still largely well kept and maintained. The large demographic of non whites and assumptions of resulting precarity is pretty glaring. An important topic not addressed very well at all.

House flippers should be required to have a real estate license at the very least. That would allow some oversight by the local real estate commission. Gives incentive to flippers to work in good faith.

YES. But the PTB "bank" on the general 'ignorance' of the +/- 50% herds of pre- programmable tax and debt enslaved: chattle. (And this 'subject' gets interesting REAL QUICK once one goes past Hollweird and the controlled M$ to alt Medea, etc. Because "The Big Short," or even: "99 Houses" doesn't even BEGIN to cover the breadth and depth of systemic CORRUPTION and COLLU$ION... that's REALLY going ON, here!!!) Wish one could still mention it, on YT.

Still waiting since 1964 to have my adoption nullified, and take back my legal birth certificate. And not have that custody or authority be given back to my biological relatives or their relatives.
As a child I was legally removed from one group of dysfunctional and abusive group of people. And placed into another group of dysfunctional and abusive group of people.
I am in need of a lawyer to represent me. I am okay with going to the United States Supreme Court. This is as important as: Brown vs The Board of Education.
There should have been federal legislation written centuries ago, that allowed adopted people to have their adoption nullified.
There should have been legislation in the United States Constitution or in the Bill of Rights or in the Amendments, that allows adopted people to have their adoption nullified. Regardless of their age.
Several law enforcements, the AG of California and the ACLU are a few organizations that have been informed.
Why doesn't my birth certificate have the word: Adopted? This should be mandatory for all adopted people.
The United States government and judiciary system failed to inform adopted people, upon being adopted their legal problems would begin.
Having an adoption nullified would be similar to divorce laws. Stating abuse, rape and incest. Stating irreconcilable differences and conflict of interests.

First of all you will have bad actors in any thing even in your line of work, when was the last time you investigated realtors/agents/brokers and you give home owners no credit all contracts tell the home owner to have there lawyer to look over the contract before signing. And banks are not in the housing business, and vacant homes bring down value okla realtors investigate your industry, and the man from NAR ask grant has he ever fixed &flip a property also ask him if he ever wholsaled a property b.s themarket isnt hot and banks wont finance a distressed property all of these people will not tell you these things, you give the home owner no credit. And why is it you never have the investor as part of the panel to defend the industry why?!!! and i have a ton of realtor complaints this is targeting a industry thats 60 yrs old based on a few and who is going to regulate this NAR is not educated in the industry and wont back and contracts doesnt cover the investor and contracts aldso tell home owner to have there attorney look over contract. We can purchase property in okla Grant be real how about your own industry

INDEED... these know- it next to nothings should be AWARE that the entire "system" writ large IS now a GIANT "fiat" Ponzi scheme... with the Medea and reinc. "government" (UN subcorporate dba 213 nation states and territories) never discussing their sponsors, above the lowest "public" and/ or private entity levels! And what is being done about predatory government agencies, to Wall Street and the Big Banks, etc.??? (And the Trillions in predation... including hundreds of $ billions in excess proceeds, surplus funds, and inflated property tax valuations, artificial scarcity, the FED rigging the dollar (and creating 'inflation!') and hedge funds and institutions artificially driving up, then down, the perceived valuations and costs and rents in real estate (and similarly also in every other market!) the ridiculous 'values' and property tax to insurance cost increases, etc.
THEN they (every 7- 15 plus years) in turn then resell as (bank foreclosed) REOs, and at tax foreclosure auctions... to their Hedge Fund, etc. cronies... for 1- 25 cents on the dollar... vs. 50- 75% of ARV.) APPROX. 300 FORECLOSURES DAILY, and they're ALSO NOT filling the NODs and Lis Pendens, to keep the "scarcity/ demand" curves where they want them. (Along with a few dozen, other TRICKS!! Like grossly inflated, then deflated public and private: appraisals!)
