Saint Matthew's parish used to have an affiliated grade school and high school, both long since closed. The high school provided secondary Catholic education for a number of primary schools in surrounding communities. The building still stands and serves as a Korean church and school.
Home prices are high here. BUT home taxes are low. You can always pay off your house, but you will always have to pay those taxes if they are high in other places you buy somewhere else. Best school district. Whole town is clean,low crime. Don't even remember hearing of any around here. Plenty of events for families year round. Some parking issues if you don't have a driveway but not that bad. Great town to raise a family or like going to the bars, restaurants , or just walk around the town. And best part is , you can retire here with the low home taxes unlike other places that you pay off your home and retire and cannot afford your home taxes anymore
@@terrijofilms305 You too. I'm originally from north Jersey 30 years ago. Still see my family and friends there. Out of control. taxes are 12,000 a year. so sad for the people that bought a house for about 80 grand 30 or 40 years ago and are now paid off, old retired people have to move because they can no longer pay for their payed off house. Said move to PA and best place to move here is Conshohocken. Because the houses they bought all those years ago are worth the same as here . buy it in cash and not even pay 1/3 of the taxes here> Have a nice weekend
I was there recently for a wedding.We stayed in that Hotel connected to the fire house.Fantastic concept and a beutiful place.I fell in love with the area though.Im from the Albany NY area where it's nice but, the taxes are high.I would move here in a minute though.Valley Forge is a ten minute car ride away too.
