Love this video, we all need a good rant. Before watching I was already saying to my husband I’m going to have a “freezer week” and eat up things we’ve had for a while. Mainly because my freezer is so full but it will definitely bring down our bills to just buy bread and fresh produce for a week.
Another little note for online shopping is when you order from Coles you may order 1kg of chicken breast and end up with 1.1kg, they end up charging you the difference in price (unless your item was subbed). Your payment sits as pending on your bank account and they adjust after your order is picked. With Woolies if you order 1kg of chicken breast and end up with 1.1kg of chicken breast you do not pay the difference, the total for your items when you finalised your payment is the price you pay. This goes for anything that is by weight at Woolies :-)
Meal prepping and stockpiling really helps us! When we have a tight week we use whats in the freezer and stockpile. Honestly really helps get us through.
Double check for your area online for broccoli and cauliflower when to plant. According to the book I follow feb/march is cauliflower and march/April brocccoli

Loved this video. Thank you for sharing all your ideas.😃🙏
You are so welcome!
These days I always add a couple of tins of lentils to my mince spaghetti sauce it makes it go further and I like it too.
And they are so cheap!!!

So true! Love a good freezer stockpile
Have you tried breadrolls for your sons lunch? May fill him up more than having to make 2 sandwiches with no crust?..
I might try bread rolls on a weekend. He hasn’t in the past but sometimes it’s good to retry!

Just planted the seeds the other day. Hoping for a good harvest 🤞🏼
Do you have a slow cooker? You can cook lamb shanks or roast in there if it's too hot to use the oven.
I don’t! I only have pots 🫣 but am home alot so could slowly cook the shanks one day
