Talking about the best, the most understandable setup what really helped me was this simple exercise. Write your best setup backwards. LTF entry confirmation to last HTF element. Like this from analysis paralysis I end up with 5 dead stupid rules that changed trading routine to the point where true consistency and profits kicked in.

Love your videos as always!! Took a short on Oil this morning just 10 minutes prior to the 3rd hour of the Asian session for a nice 1, 2, 3 pushes into yesterday's HOD, followed by an engulfment where I took it with a 1bar stop, for a nice 46 pip profit. I feel like I've traded this same pattern like every day this week, it kinda feels weird to enter without this set up. Thanks for sharing your knowledge sir!!
Nice trade mate - have seen your comments on a few of SB's vids, mind if I ask you for any tips on spotting the 123 push? Really struggling with seeing this (both in live time and hindsight). I saw this same Oil (Spot Crude) setup as you but got stopped out. I saw it as: 3rd push was at the 9:32pm candle, breaking the HOD, which then engulfed the high bull and started to break down. Got in at 50's level, SL above the 9:35pm candle then stopped out on the next push back up (which to me looks like a 4th push). Any insight on what I might have missed here? Only thing I can think of is that the move started at 9pm and possibly should have waited 45mins from that point for the pump up to complete before entering. Cheers
@@njj5050 Hi, yes normally you would've been right at entering the way it set up, but this was the trap. Stacey talks a lot about the importance of time when entering a trade. You can expect the market to reverse (or flip) around the hourly rotation. So the first hour oil didn't do anything, then the start of the 2nd hour it ramped up (the pump). Then it went into consolidation, and then at the start of the 3rd hour, you see the move down (the dump) started. I really make it a point to only enter the market around 10-15 minutes before and 10-15 minutes after that hourly rotation. If you enter around, 3:30, you get stopped out a lot more, because it's a fake move. It's all about Time&Price. Price (or set up), doesn't mean anything unless it's at the right time (hourly rotation), same goes for time means nothing if there's no set up (price). At least that's what I go by.

So agree with the idea of securing profits and getting off the screen. A majority of my issues come from overtrading ir staring at the scrreen after i have made money. This is a tough thing to break and oroba ly getting in the way of real progress.

I was chopped in Gold but I assumed not to trade bcoz London session was not giving set up but I took sell when going down I wasn't there and didn't take the low of London as it was my target I lots my account

How is Stacey determining the HOD and LOD before the close of the day? I seem confused.
Are the HOD and LODs determined in the 3hr opening sessions?
I think the explanation would be so much better if Stacey used bar replay in Trading view.

Did you ask if we got value from video? We got the keys to central bank vault - I couldnt tell you how many times, I have jumped off a trade during the pump and dump you mentioned on 18:55 mark, but, it has also now become one of my favorite set ups, that pump feels like it will never stop very energetic and explosive especially in US30. Thank you man!
I have noticed squeezes are very fond of the third hour. I don't even consider consolidation breakouts until the third hour now most of the time.
Stacey, I want to clarify my thinking. When a H and L are put in place on Mon -Tu those levels are guides for our trading for the week. If they never are broken or pierced there is no trading that instrument . No trading even if there are 3 levels of price moves or pushes or Asian/London/NY levels happening we ignore what is going on inside of the original Mon/Tues High and Low levels until one of those levels is crossed.
Now it make sense. This is exactly how it manifested in oil. On a D1L

Stacey Q: how does an outside day affect your day count? What if the Outside day is with or not with the direction of the 3 day count?
Day count doesn't change until it reverses inside after being outside Steve. An outside bar can be a reset Steve usually after FED or major news. There can be variations. The outside bar can also be the last false move into a L3 high or low.

That Risk only 1R regardless of position is Gold or could be the key for you as it has become for me. Dig into that master it first. It will take away the hesitation of executing a good plan. There is a ton of strategies, but all of them can only be successful with 1 common denominator. That 1R or Risk he is referring to. 1R must be static while %SL to Entry may vary and is still good as long as the RR ratio is equal or positive. :)
Stacey, do you use a simulator to get your chops or is it more about just going over the days and using hindsight at first?
So to summarise, a reset day is when the day closes between the peak high and peak low of that day (closes more or less where it opened on the day)?
Is that correct?

In video at 22:08 mark Stacey says we have hod and lod, but low was way back in asia not Euro session? Hope he misspoke or I am completely lost if I don’t know after hundred videos what Hod or Lod is at this point , getting more confused. Can someone clarify this or am i officially losing my mind.

Just study his "best trade set ups" videos, partically the Pump and Dump, that should get you started.
Study, study then study some more. It’s not easy like some say.
