I really like it and I'm glad your song showed up in my feed out of nowhere, however there's some "dirty" distortion that can be heard throughout the track, especially in the beginning and at 2:10. I assume is has to do something with sound compression
Thanks for listening! The distortion heard throughout the track is actually a stylistic choice. The main synth itself I used heavy compression with some pretty high resonance on. The arp lead you hear also has a low pass filter that has a lot of resonance, hence the distortion from the speakers. There's no clipping involved. It just makes for a dirtier sound.
