20 seconds - this reminds me of the whole deal about keeping hands washed regularly largely throughout the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. We were all told to wash our hands regularly for about 20 seconds, singing happy birthday (or something else, I can't remember exactly). It may well be purely coincidental, but singing for 20 seconds while rubbing something into our hands in order to keep us safe and well seems awfully close to reciting the lord's prayer for that same period of time, in order to achieve roughly the same or a similar goal. I wonder if that small hygienic recommendation at the start of the pandemic actually has its roots in the use of the Lord's prayer in medieval medicine.
