Thanks for the review! I was interested in these as a possible upgrade from my SMSL SA300 & RB42s, but I'm glad I bought angled stands and a Schiit Rekkr instead.
Hi again ☕️ I’ve got the OG Klipsch 51 R-Powered speakers..with a sub …it’s nice ..casts a nice wide soundstage and good imaging ( yes, I know how to set them up in a full size room😆) ..but there’s only so much you can do with both price point and physical size. These look like a nice little set up… Great review and I hope you have a great weekend..btw, it’s Canadian Thanksgiving 🦃 weekend.
No Bluetooth, no problem. Love the idea of Bluetooth speaker like utility/portability, yet something a little more substantial. It's a shame about the sound, These would be perfect in a small room or kitchen.
YEP, size matters. It takes a long time to travel to London in a row boat. These seem like an alternative for someone who doesn't want those Logitech or Razr multimedia speakers, they all suck.
The alternatives to those gaming speakers are definitely not SP3 iLout Micro Monitor JBL 104 PreSonus Eris E4.5 Edifier MR4 PreSonus Eris E3.5 (big maybe. better go for MR4 or Pebble with a small sub) Creative Pebble V2/V3 There are many other small speakers options depending on your location, but this is just a quick list for every budget.
Apos Audio has been kind to my channel with lending gear for review. I have a good relationship with them and they understand that just because they provide gear doesn't guarantee a positive review. I don't push my affiliate link with Apos Audio and they don't require anything in return for a review other than honesty. Prettty much every big audio review channel is loaned gear from Apos Audio so you can say the same about everyone. Thanks for watching and commenting.
These are full of marketing BS. What's really bothering is the rip-off asking price because they are not even close to compete at this level. If there were the only small speakers at this price, I would maybe understand, but they're definitely not and I have no idea who would pick these over something like the iLoud Micro? Those are even smaller than these if the space is really a concern and they sound great. The SP3 sounds like crap in comparison and they barely deserve anything above $150.
out of subject: in ur videos u always emphasize "honesty" explicitly. i was asking to myself "why is he so insistent/keen about it?" now i realize. seeing expreriencing how much wide spread hypocrisy/lying/misleading and to what magnitude... probably u know them but u cant speak about them. u only protest it passively by emphasizing "honesty" god bless u David Silvia.
Thanks Dave for the review. These seem to be a bit of a marmite speaker. I’ve seen some surprisingly positive reviews but Erin said they measured badly (if that’s your thing) and he didn’t think they sounded good either.
@@TheHonestAudiophile right on! Hopefully fiio sends one your way. It’s a pretty good set for $300. There are 2 versions though, the lower ohm one has a different driver, idk how it sounds. Maybe it’s tuned the same, idk.

Have you considered getting the fiio r7 or the woo audio tube mini portable tube amp?
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll see if they're available for review.

Hi! In my country there are offers...Wich IS most complete for enjoy music? Variations, Fh9 or Hidizs Ms5?
Variations is most analytical. MS5 is most musical. FH9 has most balance between analytical and musical.
@@TheHonestAudiophile in terms of soundstage which win?
FH9

Happy Friday!!!
i don't understand the negativity. these are desktop speakers and i love them they sound big for being that small.
Glad you enjoy the SP3.
@@TheHonestAudiophile these are my first desktop speakers after 6 years of mostly using headphones. i am tired of having something heavy on my head
@csch92 Cool
Aren‘t you a Bit hard on These? They are meant as desktop set No Bluetooth bothers me more as I can’t use my phone as a source
The only setup I tested them in was on my desk so I'm not being hard on them, just honest.

They're overpriced in my opinion. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Don't need measurements to confirm they don't sound very good 😏

Are you planning on reviewing the 350ohm ft3?
I've been trying to get the FT3 in for review for a long time. Maybe one day it'll be available.
