As a truck driver from nebraska. Yes the thought of running from a tornado in a semi truck gives me goose bumps

As a truck driver in Texas, who has ran from one of them spinny boys in a 379, I had goosebumps too.
Guy in the trailer didn't care, had to get that grain in to co-op silo. More afraid of his boss than the spinny boy.
That International Transtar Eagle cabover truck is awesome, remember it being a mod for FS19, and it was one of my favorite trucks in that game 👍
Same I was sad it wasn’t in FS22 it couldn’t have been branding issues because international was in the game

I am "Blown away" by this! I live in Arkansas. Dealing with tornadoes is just part of life here ( as is rice and mosquitoes 🫤). If you're going to base a farm in the Mississippi river valley you gotta have tornadoes! Awesome Giants! 😎

I hope they implement or at least have a mod that makes suspension, stopping/accelerating more realistic. Every vehicle is like driving a fork lift.

@@olympiad013the foundation for this game is fs09. Same engine, same physics, same graphics. Giants don’t have the funds to built a new game engine from scratch, something this game desperately needs.

I hope if international is really added they do the current mv /hx ....they never updated the base game trucks either, the Volvo brake lights turn signal never works...underpowered tri axle versions, no rack on any models and no heavy haul version of the Pinnacle they dropped the ball big time for me

I dont know if y'all didnt noticed, but at 14:38 you can actually see that the tracks made by wheels are lower then the rest of the ground. Ground deformation?
I'll be honest, I'm not seeing it Edit: it kinda looks more like they've added a shadow effect if you will to the wheel mark texture rather then actual ground deformation but I hope your right
Giants showed ground deformation at FarmCon. They also said that they will disappear over time, like regular tire tracks. (DJ has a video covering it from around a month ago)
@@MellowYe77ow yep, it really is just a 3D version of the standard tire track. No digging down into the mud and getting stuck or leaving holes. But I think this is a big improvement over the 2D track pattern in current FS games.
I hope hurricanes work like this, they ruin the plantation, making you lose the harvest, but if you have already harvested, as a storm passed, the prices went up a lot, due to the demand for the products, so it will be a good idea to leave the grains in silos

I have to give some props to giants for these features. Severe weather will be an excellent producer of sawmill lumber from damaged trees, at least features tie in together to some fashion and will extend gameplay possibilities

THE NOVAG, YESSSSS. I saw that 950 at agritechnica last year and was hoping that it would somehow make it into FS as a mod, cause its an absolute unit of a machine. AND HERE IT IS.
The tractor at 5:07 and 15:17 is a 2002 challenger MT665 or similar.
With International now in FS, I hope we can have official Scania trucks down the line as well.

well, I wasn't all that excited about FS25....but now....maybe.
It's cool to see Arkansas and even better that it's a little closer to the hills rather than the stereotypical Arkansas flatland farm. This is much closer to the area I'm from than any other FS maps.

Looks like for most of the tractors they have a us variant. Finally my mods folder will not be full of edited base game vehicles with the US version

It feels doable. You only have to do it in visual range
If you can get AI to do fields anyway. Why not other farmers.
Imagine you have an Identical crop field next to your neighbor and he has a tornado come through and it affects the price of crops so it means your crop is worth more because there is a shortage.

I hope the new FS25 supports bigger maps and will be optimized a lot otherwise it will be dissapointing.
All I can say is... WOW! I might have expected severe weather, but A TORNADO??? Does this mean we'll get cyclones or mini-tornadoes too? Because if so... I'm definitely down for FS25. The idea of getting stuff thrown about like the tornado is a giant stomping toddler playing with toys just makes it hilarious yet TERRIFYING!! (I lived through a Cat 3 cyclone, stuff was thrown everywhere) I don't think it'd realistically be able to throw a 9R halfway across the map tho. A gator or pick-up sure, but not tractors.
As for the prancing baby animals... Sheep, ok I can see lambs doing that, as they can also become Houdini and run straight through a gate backwards. But calves?? Not sure on that one.

It appears to me that there are three stages of animal growth and what I would assume is grazing. the grass in the pen looks starkly different, and shorter, that the grass just outside the pen.
I have a question: why did the developers make drops on the equipment, but not make drops on the glass?

I live in Arkansas...lol, getting Arkansas in farmsim and in American Truck Simulator... what are the chances...ROFL. I've also had more than my share of run ins with tornadoes including our town being hit this spring. But love what I'm seeing from this game so far.

this does make me wonder about weather timing. Arkansas and tennessee both have a huge amount of nighttime tornado's so in my mind the risk of nighttime severe weather would be a natural accompaniment.
