VOA 60: DRC authorities call for intervention amid M23 aggression, and more

On VOA 60: Therese Kayikwamba Wagner, the Democratic Republic of Congo’s Foreign Minister,has appealed to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to intervene against Rwanda - a nation that DRC authorities allege is supporting the M23 rebels who recently seized the eastern city of Goma. However, Kigali denies the allegations.
Plus, Malian officials and citizens gathered for a ceremony in the southwest town of Kangaba to mark the one-year anniversary that the West African nation and its junta-led neighbors, Niger and Burkina Faso, decided to leave the regional ECOWAS bloc.
