Need that ooze + dirty rat + polymorph / hex / silence / entomb combo. And also you need to hit it perfectly the first time or else they may run that kobold that revives the weapon.

jomix7 That is not true. Almost every card in this deck is also useable in standard. And the combo cards like Umbra, Valnyr, Doppelgangster and Chain Gang are from the newest sets. What are u talking?!?

I was thinking about doing this combo, but in constructed. The speed of the weapon is already great, and being able to get it straight back in your hand via umbra seems OP if it works.
Dane i've a combo for you. I've been doing it since Lich King expansion is came out. It is the hardest combo in HS imo. Here is the recipe: The class is Warlock. Cards are: 1 Defile + 1 Necrotic Geist + 1 Knife Juggler + 2 Deathspeaker + 1 Possessed Villager + 1 Tuskarr Fisherman Play 1 Knife Juggler and 1 Necrotic Geist, make them immune with 2 Deathspeakers, give +1 spell damage to one of the immune characters, play Possessed Villager and cast Defile. GG infinite damage. Have fun.

I mean I have been doing the combo in a tempo deck, but I mean with the doomsayers and the other removal tools this deck has, do you think I could build a version of this for constructed? I've not been playing paladin for long, and with call to arms ruling constructed, all the decks are really fast. I think some removal would be cool though to make maybe a more mid range sort of tempo deck or something. Loving val'anyr though and have umbra and stuff so would be cool to get the best possible deck for the regular ladder containing this combo would be sweet. I wonder if I could build it in a murloc deck, just take the 2 x saronite and 1 x doppel (as the card is gimped for the umbra combo it seems) then the basic murloc package/weapons etc with call to arms and divine for card draw. could work. I wonder of theres any murloc cards that could provide multiple buffs, I know theres at least bilefin hunter.
Since you're playing this in wild, why not use Echoing Ooze? It clones itself after it is summoned at the end of your turn, allowing you more chances to duplicate your Val'anyr.
Oh yeah Echoing Ooze so good. 2 mana 5/4 battlecry at the end of your turn summon a 5/4 and if umbra is out it also has battlecry and deathrattle: give 2 minions in your hand +4/+2 and this effect. Also equip a 4/2 weapon. Seems all right
I feel like this hasn't gone far enough. The only card in the deck not in standard is Solemn Vigil. Solemn Vigil is a great card, but what else could fit in the deck?
Corban Hickman I'm assuming that they get summoned first and only then is the deathrattle applied, too late for Umbra ? I don't know if Blizzard considers it fine or not, but it's an inconsistency with saronite chain gang either way, which triggers both deathrattles.

You take this game way too seriously my friend, I recommend you to quit a bit. Don't forget it's just codes, numbers. If you give these algorithms too much value it will fuck up your brain, trust me.
Heh don't worry I got over. I got a Taunt druid deck with Lich King and Hadronox. And got a pretty good win rate with it so pretty happy about it. And I finally got my second pack legendary recently. I swear I opened like 30 packs. And I got Azalina... I'm waiting for it to get good in the meta... And I if need some dust I got 400 right there...
Actually this is a Standard deck right ? there is no only wild card in it ? You should go and have fun in Standard for once then ;-) Go and reck some people! Great deck by the way !
Nothing in standard is quite as good as vigil but you could try a few things. The 6 mana 4/4 that draws you two if you have a 5 attack minion would always be triggerable after you've got valanyr. Loot hoarders are always decent but Dane is already running a lot of 2 drops.
The reason i can't go backto standard is because I like to use a good control deck to go up the ranks and since raza priest in standard keeps bombarding me a but and then otks me (velen mind blast and smite) I find it there is a much better way to counter that deck in wild even with all the sheninigans. If you only blizzard didnt introduce quest rogue for all classes but with 8/8's instead of 5/5's I would play a lot more control than just priests with lighbomb or a brawl and pray
The only card draw paladin has is Divine and Blessing Of Wisdom. I'd say the second one, because it works more consistently and you can get more value out of it. Plus, you can put it on an enemy minion for them to give you value every time they hit your face. Also it costs less.

Yesterday i spent a good hour fucking around with Val'anyr, managed to get a primalfin champion to be a 289/146. It was glorious

This list is almost standard. Only exception is 2x Solemn Vigil. Why not test it with Divine Flavour or something?

Peter Senior there is also the new paladin 2 mana spell that gives divine shield to a minion and you draw a card, i use it it's pretty underrated
