Im thinking of maining dark blade because he is a warrior type that help in getting red eyes slash dragon AND hes a normal type so he will synergize perfectly with this.
@@DrillSgtMason as far as normal fusion materials I'd say aim for a light or fire warrior to cover more attributes. I plan to try comet dragon using REBD+Typhone#2 then burning by sending archfiend. Also interesting thought - hieratics use a normal monster or two and their rank 6 summons another dragon from deck.
Gemini monsters are treated as effect monsters in the deck. So after this support they are still sleeping. So the only thing this help this has for Gemini monsters is a monster reborn. So sadly Gemini monsters are still unplayable. Until they get direct support for them.

The other thing is we had that random normal monster that got retrained but is searchable in the millenium deck although I don't think it's level 4 or lower. One generic combo I've thought of for this archetype is to use 2 Normal cards and something like "future fusion", to send them to the gy and expand ur normal card diversity(negate options) and also summon "First of Dragons" which cannot be destroyedd by battle except by normal monsters and is unaffected by other monster effects (2700/2000 lvl9 Dark Dragon). Another one is assuming if for whatever reason there are some big normal monsters, this archetype can have a beatstick strategy, even ignoring all the big brain quick effect shenanigans. I really like this engine because it's rogue support. We were 1 bad day with "normal monster" being replaced with fire monster lol.

i can see a ton of decks working with this, anime stuff like dark magician, blue-eyes, harpies, for me the one with the most interesting potential is magikey
I like that this archetype is made to be a control interactive one, instead of pure stun. Quite a nice spin for normal monsters. I like it. For engines (because I doubt it's playable on it's own yet) Magikey came first to my mind because they can change the attribute of all monsters on the field via a counter trap they have, the issue I see with them is that they are kinda cluncky because of the bricks it has (Ritual, Mafteal, counter)/I don't think Pacifis really mesh with these, unless you ignore the lvl6 guy, because you're locked into either using paficis or you summon effect monsters./Adventure engine is quite boring, but I see it being a decent one, specially because it discards so you can send the trap to the gy for a free disruption./Tenyi kinda works and at the same time they doesn't, it's kinda weird. Something that I noticed while thinking about other engines, this archetype heavy relies on the continous spell to get the engine started, but the deck has no way to get to this card, so maybe we would get that next set? which is quite a bummer.
This archetype seems really cool! Actually seems like Konami is finally trying to make a sort of control archetype, also this deck might have good synergy with pacifism and those cards for an interesting control deck, assuming it gets some more support. It mostly just needs a better way to break boards and also play the game before the combo deck gets to set up on your opponent’s turn 1 (I think this is mandatory for fair control decks in the current meta). Seems like right now you just have one spot removal spell and the potential ability to just beat over a guy with a blue-eyes or somethin. I don’t think the banish off of the primordial monster is going to be reliable enough. I mean you probly play a dark normal monster since dark is the most common attribute, but I’m not sure how many more than that you’d want to play. I also think they should put the SS restriction on other future extenders to prevent it from just being an e-tele for degenerate combo decks, or really anything else that can abuse a free body of any type/attribute.
It's definitely getting at least 1 more effect monster in the next core set - most of the spell cards show an ice dragon monster that doesn't exist yet.
Looks like it could be cool to run a small primoredial package (like 1-2 of the monster, 1 normal monster, and 3 of the continuous spell) in Lab for extra interaction!
Miraculously enough, it can work with Tenpai dragon as a going 1st strategy...(Not gonna spill the guu yet😎). Jst been something I've been working on for Tenpai...n this becomes a complete engine to go into that strategy...Amma have fun with this one!

The Dragong is great tribute fodder that you can reuse and have the Earth/Machine targets for effects if it is in GY. This set is special recursion.
