That ocean will pull someone out sea in only a few seconds....the pacific undertow is a monster. And once you're out there, you can never swim back to shore, o matter how good of a swimmer you are. Just looking at the water scares the crap out of me.

Google Cardboard is definitely the cheapest VR solution, assuming you already own a compatible smartphone that will fit inside the cardboard goggles. For a simple, all-in-one system, I like the Oculus Quest. No attachment to a PC is needed, it works entirely off your home's wifi signal. Simply download the RUclips app into the Quest and enjoy all the VR videos in your living room! Best of luck to you! :-)

Just so ya know this is not Malibu Surfrider beach I'm pretty sure its Leo Carillio state beach which fine but the name is wrong. I grew up in the santa monica bay area and i know my geography there. this is a pretty famous beach though lots of monster movies made here because its a closed area so the studios could control the bystanders. Ok oK i saw the 360 camera control its pirates cove. My mistake
Is that Frankston beach
If I remember correctly, this was recorded at Pirate's Cove at Malibu Beach. Same location as the final scene of Planet of the Apes! Lots of filming activity there because it's so secluded. You never know what you'll see!
