Remember this isn't a starter box it's the new edition launch box. And it is a great set for those of us already into the game. The new starter boxes will probably be announced next month and split this box into 2 or 3 boxes that will have beginner scenarios, dice and rulers, it's what they have been doing for the last few years.
Yeah. I did make that comment but itay not have made it into the final edit 😄. It still catches me out every new box though. It feels doubly odd this time, because Spearhead is a brilliant place for beginners and yet it's launch is in a box that isn't quite so much. An out and out Spearhead box is surely on the horizon?
A shame the box is the soft cardboard and not the hard cardboard of Leviathan, Dominion etc. I'm sure that's helped keep the cost down, but a real shame.
@@AgentsofSigmar the soft boxes don't stand up to wear and tear for as long the hard cardboard, the sprues inside are easier to damage, they're not as good for storage. I've still got Indomitus, Leviathan and Dominion on my shelves. The Warcry boxes with this cheaper material are long gone into my recycling bin.
"How do you even measure that?"
"Inches, I suppose"
🤣🤣🤣

How is that a shame…?

yeah it really doesn't make that much difference...
@@AgentsofSigmar obviously it matters to me, otherwise I wouldn't have brought it up. Appreciate your opinion on the topic though.
any indication of the price?
£160 RRP, I believe.
Price of an old GPU
What?! Lame how they didn't get an official art piece for the Fire & Jade spearhead book! Just a 'eavy Metal photo on the cover.
I suspect because they aren’t looking to make the books too expensive as they’ll hopefully get updated often with new stuff and be available in pdf 🤞
No dice seems a bit of an oversight 🤨
It's a tough one. Most of the people buying it don't need dice and the dice they usually include are not very nice.
Honestly, I'm glad. I have shittons of basic white dice from sSO MANY other GW box sets.
it's not a starter box. This is a limited edition Launch box.
