You are correct. That IS where the walleyes are! I tend to lean on slip bobbers, but that gets tricky on a sharp break line. I’ll play around with Lindy’s this summer. Congratulations on your nine trips last year! Lines tight!
I’ve watched a couple of your videos. I’m impressed how great you’re doing fishing the Lindy Rigs and floating jig heads. I’ve never tried that in BWCA because I would think the Lindy sinkers would be caught in the rocks the whole time. Do you fight a lot of snags or are you able to pop most of them out?
Snags happen but that’s where the walleyes are. Sometimes yes you can get a lot of snags but most of the time it’s not too bad sometimes they’ll slip off.
