I was in the building on Friday at Rutgers. That was the easiest triple-double I've ever seen. It was effortless. Looked like she was playing against high school JV players. Nothing left to prove on the college level.
For all you people saying she didn't get the shot off: the clock on the bottom of the screen is NOT the official game clock. That is the broadcast clock that is not in sync with the game clock. She got the shot off at .1 seconds.
Clark is outstanding player! However: The last I looked, Clark is the 103rd ranked player in the country for the percentage of field goals made! And, for the percentage of 3pt field goals made, Clark is rated 30th in the country. If any of these higher ranked players shot the ball as much as Clark, they will score so much more points per game than Clark. Just saying!
The Women NCAA March madness has been better than the men's the last 2-3 years. Mainly for 3 reasons women's talent are getting better, Continuous storyline cause there's no "one and done" and finally some of the men's top prospects weren't in college. Example: 1 in the top 5 was in NCAA. Wemby - international. Scoot and the twins were G League. Now on Clarke, she's box office but there's a few of WNBA player than can shoot lights out Ionescu and MJ in NY liberty are way more talented. The scary thing about Clarke in the WNBA is that Indiana Fevers just drafted #1 pick ROY Alliyah Boston (mentored by Tim Duncan) to now have the chance to draft Clarke. That's a deadly inside outside combo.
She still had the ball in her hand when the clock was at zero. For some reason the buzzer and back board didn’t light up till after she released the ball, but if you go purely off the shot clock, she didn’t het it off in time. They gave it to her for the attention. Great shot non the less, just shouldn’t have counted.
@@erikrivera74you must be slow. The clock that you see on the broadcast is not the official game clock. Even the score you see isn’t provided officially by the sport’s league. @@Stevovisuals, at 6 seconds your watching a replay from the streaming service Peacock had last night, which was behind on the clock on TV. Correct me if I’m wrong here, but from this game feed it seems like the clock ran out before the release(though the game clock and displayed clock might have been off) and she seemed to travel before she took the shot. I agree it was an amazing shot regardless though.
She didn’t get the shot off in time
She’s bringing people to women’s basketball college or pros it’s other girls too but she’s fun to watch bruh even when she’s off or lose she’s fun to watch
The Ball kissed the net so hard
Like Magic, but better shooter. Like Bird, but better handles and quicker. She a real badass!
Gona set Salary records in the WNBA
You didn't mention her magic Johnson passes. Crazy clutch
I only started watching womens basketball last December after I accidentally clicked the Iowa vs Louisville game on RUclips. Its insane how Im a huge fan of Iowa now. ❤😂 and Im from another country, which is sad bc I will never see Caitlin in real life ever 😢
Well, you just might be able to see her. The team travelled to Italy & Croatia last August. It is possible that they could do another exhibition game overseas. ruclips.net/video/W0urNkTAE_A/видео.htmlsi=5zl338jm4OGleP0X
I'm going to say range wise it's Step,Dam,,Ice Trey, Luka, and Caitlin Clark best shooters
She’s more clutch then you know who…
Yes & I know who
I know it doesn’t matter but did anyone else notice she released the ball after the buzzer started?
Exactly
Look at the stills and the board….
the ball was in her hand tho lol
Caitlin clark is the one, She is a shooting star that's about to become a superstar ✨️
Clark is outstanding player!
However:
The last I looked, Clark is the 103rd ranked player in the country for the percentage of field goals made!
And, for the percentage of 3pt field goals made, Clark is rated 30th in the country.
If any of these higher ranked players shot the ball as much as Clark, they will score so much more points per game than Clark.
Just saying!
Im so lost. The buzzer was already at 00:00. Someone please explain
I always thought the buzzer sounding means time has expired for the quarter.
Ms. Clark in superman robe
That shot did not get off on time me smith
Girls College ball is way more interesting than the wnba
I watched the final shot , in slow motion, it was clean 😅
She still had the ball in her hand when the clock was at zero. For some reason the buzzer and back board didn’t light up till after she released the ball, but if you go purely off the shot clock, she didn’t het it off in time. They gave it to her for the attention. Great shot non the less, just shouldn’t have counted.
@@erikrivera74you blind. I paused it with 0.1 seconds left on the replay with the official game clock, not NBC’s and she got it off
@@erikrivera74you must be slow. The clock that you see on the broadcast is not the official game clock. Even the score you see isn’t provided officially by the sport’s league. It’s all done by the broadcaster. When she released the ball, the GAME CLOCK had .1 seconds while the BROADCAST CLOCK showed 0.0.
@@erikrivera74so why the opposing team didn't protest then? Did you see the photo uploaded on Iowa's website? Check it bro then comment again.
@@erikrivera74the graphics on Peacock were 0.9 seconds apart from the official game clock. The backboard lights were the official clock so the graphics on Peacock are not reliable
Acting like he discovered her. 😆
Could we get a national televised game with 5 allstar wnba player and a high school state champion team
Who is in charge of the shot clock & buzzer? The shot clock hit 0.0 but the ball was still in her hands & the buzzer doesn’t go off until after she shot.. Refs at it again or it’s rigged.
Lmao your right I had to rewatch it. That was mad late.
@@dropsixteentvtv4149 That's the broadcast clock, which was wrong. It was reviewed in the game (as all buzzer beaters are) and correctly counted.
No it didn't. It read 0.1 seconds. Don't trust the TV clock as it was almost a full second ahead
I agree with his statement at the end... but that's because they won't let Paige play point at UCONN.
I remember Stevens scathing video calling Clark a thug. pfff
She is the greatest athlete to ever live in any sport I really cannot name any other person in any sport male or female that is more special or more clutch then she is she’s proven it over and over
You don’t watch a lot of sports I take it.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 You are trolling for sure.
lol seriously@@knockout9446
@@hezekiyahhuckaby1938 name one other person more clutch then she has been and she’s jus getting started, I’ll wait…
@@thellamaman😂😂 she's good but calm down bro 😂😂
It was CLEARLY after the clock hit 0:00 … should not have counted
They literally reviewed it lmao. Very clearly was out of her hand if you watched the game. But you didnt
Well guess what? They REVIEWED it, and she the ball was CLEARLY out of her hand with .1 seconds left. The TV clock was .2 seconds ahead of the ACTUAL game clock AT THE GAME
@@Debate_dagame_not_dadebater you people and your conspiracy theories
You’re nothing but a hater going all over these comments doing nothing but trying to downplay Clark’s greatness. Someone is a bit jealous aren’t they “Emma Grace”
Pause @0:06 overrated I said yes
I find it weird that there aren’t any replays happening from a different angle of the shot !!! I’ve never seen a buzzer beater not have multiple camera replay angles .
The shot wasn’t good that’s why. They know if they show the replays it’ll confirm that.
Pause this video at 6 seconds that shot wasn’t good at all 🤦♂️
You all need to change your profile pics to clown photos. My god, there are tons of Facebook, Twitter, and even RUclips videos showing the shot from multiple angles, especially from behind Caitlin when she let's go of the ball. There is .1 seconds on the clock and the ball is completely out of her hands.😂😂😂
@@rfritz70 yeah ok
@@Stevovisuals, at 6 seconds your watching a replay from the streaming service Peacock had last night, which was behind on the clock on TV. The only time that counts is on the back of the backboard and when she shoots the ball, .1 was left on the clock when its completely out of her hands. Keep telling yourself it didn't count🙄🙄🙄
KD praised her last year. And if KD praises your basketball skills, you're doing something right.
