Do you have a video of the installment on the muffler ?

I have a manual 2011 E82 135i, it already has a factory performance exhaust so it is louder than stock. I don't/cant install a less restrictive downpipe unless I get some vales that I can close because the combination of DP & performance exhaust would be way to loud for city driving. What components are used here & how were they installed?

It’s hard to make the n54 and s55 sound good with an exhaust system.
The setup I have done on this car is , catless downpipes into duels 2.5 inch Midpipe , going into a single 4 inch all the way to a Valvetronic muffler . I made the right hand side tip as a fake and just too fit on

@@mabtuning midpipes help? i want to ditch the n55 mids for berk mids but wasn't sure if the costs would justify the increase in sound. i hear it helps the higher rpms get a little more power. sounds like you are strait pipe to valvetronic. good job!

@DigitalDissident it's really not that loud unless you punch the throttle. i waited 4 yrs to long to do a vrsf downpipe. instant horsepower and sound. in mhd you just turn off burbles in base mode. normal driving with sport off, it sounds 10% louder than stock. i got the same problem. dinan exhaust but i want valves. cold start is murder to neighbors ears.

That sounds good. Does it make an air blow sound on full wot with open valves?

@@robertpurvis6106 i disabled cold start roar with MHD. It doesnt sound quite as awesome when starting but I think it's better for the car as cold start high RPMs are just for CAT emissions. Lower RPM, less ware & quiet start.
