We are not in Messi's prime anymore, but believe me, I enjoy watching him more when he is older. When he was young, he cared about scoring more goals, but today he is more complete. Produces more goals, he has a much better playmaker ability, he makes kicks from a distance, free kicks, crazy leadership ability which he didn't have when he was young, he becomes more of a clutch winner in important games. I wouldn't say it's scoring cuz he has 14 goals in 15 matches.. pretty good. It's the physical aspects he is lacking (due to avoiding injuries or getting old), the pace. He runs a lot less & passes more. He plays brain games.
He’s still pretty good at scoring. He just doesn’t benefit from many tapins or penalty kicks. Most of his goals are from distance.
Young Messi scored in two Champions League finals, turned Real Madrid players into useless dummies on the field, scored four goals in the 1/4 Champions League final match against Arsenal and turned many Bayern Munich players into clowns in 2015. Where did this stupid stereotype come from, that he doesn't decide anything in important matches!? Anyway, Penaldo fans need to listen less (they usually live in their own fictional reality).

I'm sorry to hear, that but I really was enjoying these amazing highlights really. I do think that MLS is a breath of fresh air in the game and going to be great, but it takes some time.
I just happened to notice that the defence in this scene was so out of the momentum that any defence can be, and it was just funny.
Obviously it was just a hick up moment and that happens in sports. This scene doesn't measure anything about the team in big picture, so all good.
