You can use the kitten yarn for your pink shawl your making. Like an ombre effect. Also with the old vintage yarn and needles and you dont want to use them, make shadow box and use it as art work

What if you made 2 pieces, seamed the long edge together part way (almost halfway) and left the rest open. The seamed side would be the back. That would put the long points at the front and back.

I have used many of the Dottie yarns for brioche knit scarves. They are so squishy. Colors make faint stripes. Thanks for sharing.
