I like the form and smaller size to carry around. The Anbernic RG556 is much larger and has that big beautiful screen but the pad and overall build feels quite a bit cheaper. Same chipset too. 🤷🏻♂️ The D Pad on the Cube looks like it is perfect for most 8/16 bit games. It will definitely play 3D/3DS properly. Anything 16:9 is eh but I love an Android IPS screen. I think it's on the higher priced end of the budget devices and will fit certain niches. It's definitely one of the most interesting devices out there. I love it but it is perplexing. I am debating grabbing one for mostly for PS2 and previous generation emulation. Want something smaller for commutes but still packs a punch. Feel like there is FOMO with these devices because in another 3 months something else will come along. The RG Cube fits all my boxes but weary of grabbing one. Great review.
Glad you liked the video. Take a look at the ayn Odin mini. If price isn't an issue that may be your best bet for small and packs a punch. If your not in love with the 1x1 screen and it's your only device you may be wanting later down the road. Personally i see this as a complimentary device to my steam deck. Plus it won't play all PS2 games. Good luck on the choices!
That’s still a great handheld! Maybe a little less powerful but the screen is probably a little better overall as far as spect ration for the bigger systems.
This seems like the answer to my question “one device for everything” if I wanna play older stuff up until 3DS/Gamecube? Don’t really care too much for PS2 and newer stuff just mainly Nintendo based stuff like RPGs and Pokemon
Lets be clear here. This machine will run all of psps library on 4x and above no problems. Its the visuals that render some of the games unplayable due to not being able to see enough small detail and read the text.
Depends on the game you want to play. Switch for switch games. And the other two are are going to play up to some PS2 games. Pick the one that you like the screen better in. Honestly save an extra $100 get the Ayn Odin 2 mini, and a used switch lite. 👍
Perfect video bit you don't need to scam your whole community through a dropshipping link in the description, the RGCube doesnnt cost $192, its from aliexpress and cost maximum $160 and around $130-140 each sales...
Sorry brother but if I have to hear "clicky not squishy" or "squishy not clicky" 50 times per vid Its going to drive me insane, I think I'll look elswhere for these type of reviews. Just a bit of constructive criticism, maybe try toning it down?
Damn take a chill pill. Thats one of his funny things. All reviewers bring up that each button set is either clicky or soft/squishy and he doesnt say it more the a few times. Not that many button sets involved in these devices. But hey don’t let the door hit you on the way out😂

This looks like a tiny steam deck, but WAAAAYY BETTER All Games!!!
Very interesting and Portable Mods.
The steam deck plays all games too. You are limited but it's there. Emudeck works fantastically.
Definitely kicking myself for getting the rp2s over this, the form factor looks so unique and versitile. Anyways, great video!

Thanks for the clicky not squishy bits, always great to be clear on how these buttons are going to feel. 🍻🤘🏼
I just bought one and i love it so far
Great!
How does Pico 8 look on it? Seems perfect for it.
Fits perfectly
Did you install the games on 3ds or it comes with it?

The sub button is clicky, not squishy
Very clicky!

If I’m to play all Pokémon games from gameboy era - 3ds do they significantly well?
They all play totally fine
I wanna know this or the rp4 pro. I wanna be able to play 3ds and 2ds pokemon games easily
So between the RGB30 and RGCube is the cube better for like triple the price?
It really comes down to Linux vs android. I’d go with what your most comfortable, personally android is it for me.
@@DaveyG I'm fine with Linux, android does however offer a more compelling system in terms of customisation and such
Do 3ds games lag or stutter? I just wanna play pokemon x y / ultra sun moon / ORAS
Is gamecube emulation possible on this? I've been wanting to play pokemon Collosseum and Gale of darkness.
Yeah
How you get the 3ds bezels?
Mine came with it, if not you can Google the PNG and add them to the app your using.
Thinking about getting 1
It's great!
Is it a dual os?
Only android
Hi son, how was your day?
Not to bad Dad, mostly clicky and not squishy.
So this is just like the rgb30 but with the ability to play 3ds games. For that price, its insanely expensive.
Weird question, modded switch lite, odin pro lite or rp4 pro ?

@DaveyG modded one can tap into Linux actually so wanted to know your take on this
Appreciate the reply 👍
Dude stop saying what the buttons aren't. Just say they are clicky if they're clicky.
Who’s “anbernice”?
Freakin auto correct…
The clicky squishy joke last way too long.. 😳
Great content nonetheless !

Just android
