Greg Gagne was a very good wrestler (CONTRARILY) to what some haters and nobody's in all these comment sections say. I'll wager over 95% of these people never saw him actually wrestle. Only knock on him was he was thin and not heavy.. He would fit in perfectly today with all these guy's in the WE who are all 190 lbs.

To Paul Birchill's credit, he got the damn gimmick over, cuz they wanted a pirate cuz it was the 2000s, Jack Sparrow was Johnny Depp's biggest role at the time but story has it Vince took one look at it and said "what the fucknis that?!" And axed it along with Paul for some reason, which is weird cuz PCO when he was a pirate was okay but not Paul Burchill who got it over and was actually fantastic in the ring like wtf?

Since Greg has retired from his illustrious Pro Wrestling career as a good guy, the most remarkable thing has happened.
He has apparently become one of the most popular Heel attractions on the internet, with legions of internet stalkers, following his every appearance on the web and attempting to mock him. Much like I tried to mock Bobby Heenan when I was a 10 year old kid, by chanting "Weasel! Weasel!" at him. Bobby would tell us to shut up, then go over to Rodger Kent's table and tell him to make us brats shut up, and then act flustered that we were calling him names. It was great fun as a kid, and *Bobby was the best.* A little acknowledged fact is Bobby thought highly of Greg's in ring abilities, saying decades later that his weasel suit matches with Greg were great, and The High Flyers were amongst his favorite people to work with. When the GOAT praises you, you gotta be pretty dang good at your job. And the fact that Greg can get 30+ year old men, figuratively shrieking via keyboard at his video clips, when they don't even get a reaction out of Greg (like we did from Bobby), speaks volumes to his continued ability to be a personality and draw attention. Or, maybe it says something about grown ass men, acting like children. I dunno. 🤷‍♂
Anyway, have a wonderful day and God bless ya. 👍

It's as ridiculous as having a pro wrestler pitch up with no experience of TV show writting to start writting scripts for those TV shows. Then everybody around says its ridiculous but the boss says to just do it because they are similar genres so why not! Then they winder why the shows start to suck and hardly anyone watches it anymore compared to when they had TV show script writters who had worked previously on TV shows or acted in them.
It's why when people used to say Vince was a "genius" i would say no he's not as only an idiot would do that sort of obvious ridiculousness or else somebody with such a massive sense of shame & inferiority that he wants to hire more "respected" people to try to legitimise his product as being up there with such shows as Seinfeld etcm even at the detriment of his product instead of being balls out & having a who gives a F what others think about my genre of entertainment and sticking to a sucessful formula.
Thr fact he did that makes u lose respect for him even before any the exposures were known. Not sure why the ringboy scandal has just been swept unser the rug for the last 30 years. A worse scandal that this adult woman, these were minors.
