That’s great but it’s not your job as the media to romanticize Port Moresby. Down Town and areas where the upper class live are fine, but the city is poorly managed and walking alone is a hazard for anyone who isn’t a young able bodied man (they also get targeted too sometimes)
Png is generally a good place, it's only the Eastern of highlanders who are spoiling the good name of the country, if the people remain in their respective province and develop their own province and we will who are real peace loving people and who are real culprits
40 plus years ago, a beautiful friend of mine, who's since passed...gave PORT MORSEBY a chance due to his work opportunities. He was mid 20's, honest, hard /working and loyal....came back to NZ broken, and scared shitless after 10 short months. Sorry, the place hasn't changed.
The "what the media won't tell you" meme has taken over to the degree that the media now tells you they're showing you what the media won't show you.

Port Moresby or PNG is just the same as any other country. There are places that are safe, places that are dangerous places U can visit and can't.
