Guerlain in Canada is located within Holt Renfrew, a Canadian department store. For the relaunching events of this line which took place in a few cities they offered some gifts with purchase and also bottle painting! 😃 They also painted the bags and boxes. I forgot to mention it in the video, sorry for that.
That’s a very personal answer I’m afraid. It depends on how many sprays you have on, how your skin reacts to it, the weather you’re in and some more facts as well. But on me, it normally lasts about 4-6 hours based on the amount of sprays I normally wear.
I have Le Frenchy and I don't really pick up much lavender. Mainly verbena, as you also noted. Very dapper and "old hollywood". Strange that the new juice is mauve.
The bottle looks very beautiful and so does the cap. Do you know how many cap of this kind are produced? You said it is a limited edition cap, right? Beautiful!
Thank you Paul! I’m glad you enjoy the presentation. 🥰 I was told only 100 caps were made, however, I will have to confirm and get back to you because I don’t believe that info.
Paul, I’m at the 68 Champs Elysees boutique as I type this message and the information I was just given about the caps is that they are not limited editions. They will be permanent choices that cost extra. That is the info I have from the store. :)
Beautifully decorated bottle 👌 I have smelled the Parisiens version, but not this one. I really wish Guerlain kept Derby in this line and didn't discontinue it. Everything went to hell with Guerlain's supply and customer service here in Canada when they closed the boutique, what a shame.
I thought I had a sample of Le Frenchy but I was wrong. I wish they would’ve kept Derby as well. :/ It has been much harder to source Guerlain after the boutique closed indeed! And apparently it’ll be even more scarce for the next few months because there are more changes coming up. Where in Canada are you located!? 😃
@@sebastianfurtado3740 in Belleville, couple hrs east of Toronto. I used to be able to call the boutique and talk to a SA that new and loved the brand, quick shipping, packaging, samples of whatever I wanted to try, loved it 👌 but now I have to call like Holts and I get passed to people that don't seem to know the brand at all 🤷♂️ and it was such a beautiful boutique too.
I loveeee the opening of this, but unfortunately the dry down goes in an overly old school barbershop territory which is a deal breaker for me. A nice freshie though with a lot of facets that keep it from being basic.
Sorry to hear it didn’t work for you. :/ I totally agree with you! “A nice freshie though with a lot of facets that keep it from being basic.” Indeed! Thank you for watching! 😃
Hi, Sebastian! Thanks for your awesome reviews! I also Guerlain fan and I really appreciate that you do these reviews! you channel is unique!

Wonderful AMSR 🎉 love this fragrance! Perfect for the summer
Definitely looking forward for some warmer weather to bathe in it! 🥰
I love the art on the bottle. It just looks so luxurious.
Oh wow! Thanks for sharing! I have not seen any opinions to add the painted parts of the bottle! Was is like a special order??

@@sebastianfurtado3740The bottle art is so beautiful! Really elevates the flacon further.

Great way of describing it!
Thank you for watching. 😃
Very nice scent.
Doesn’t it list ambergris as well?
I’m not sure actually! I wouldn’t be surprised if it does because it has a slight warm marine-ish vibe to it.

@@sebastianfurtado3740 Hi Sebastian, Thank you for the info. I thought you live in Canada. Are you on vacation?
You’re very welcome!
You are correct. I live in Canada and I’m on vacation in Paris at the moment. :)
I love this Frenchy Lavende the first lavende that isn't messy on my skin lol
I’m quite certain it smells amazing on you Rina!! 🥰
Yeah.....but the bottle ❤️😏
Gorgeous isn’t it?! 😍
I have both, the original and this one. I dont see much of a difference other this is more Verbena and more Spicer than the original.
It doesn’t surprise me they kept the current one authentic to the previous.
Thank you!! 😃
