You should open some tech burner videos on each of these tabs rather than just opening a blank Chrome page which will show the real capacity of 8GB ram
Not only that, different types of websites will consume different ammount of ram so pretty sure depending upon the type of site your 8GB might start lacking in just 1 tab.
The phones google chrome app loads much more tbh. I have more than 1200 open rn. Most of them heavy ones. But I use the grouping feature. Initial loading time wud be a few secs, but afterwards smooth to switch tabs.
I have a 4gb RAM laptop, which was once affected with virus that automatically keeps on opening more & more tabs, so total of 200-300 tabs were opened at a time.

Because you must have opened something in those tabs bro. Here in this video, all tabs are empty so obviously nothing much will happen here but if we open tabs and genuinely open some websites or do anything then surely Chrome will start lagging.
Sir I load on an average 25 to 30 tabs of different and same websites in my 4GB laptop maybe because of the SSD. So, seeing this is quite normal for me😂
And here I opened literally plus 1200 tabs in my 2 gb phone in chrome and I am literally active in all tabs Because of grouping feature of chrome And it lag but as it's just suffering information and data I don't care that much

Empty tabs dont matter much as they dont consume memory much. Also, this is a kind of stupid benchmark to check the performance as internal memory management will clear the pages from memory & when you revisit the page it will be reloaded.

Such a terrible experiment, using only blank tabs. On my 8gb ram lap, I run useful 350+ tabs on Opera split b/w 3 workspaces and 30+ tabs on edge simultaneously while listening to Spotify. (I don't prefer google)
I know Google Chrome is a lot demanding compared to edge or opera but keep in mind that the content you watch on edge is comparatively compressed and lower quality than chrome.

Not because of SSD the sites you visit most likely have limited GUI which mends it not too demanding on your ram.
