i really like the level 1 version the most. i think simplicity is a key factor in such a chill and beautiful song, adding too much can kill the vibe. great playing mate!
I agree. I didn't care much for version 2.It's like Tony Rice bluegrass picker. His entros are just too much show off.

Beautiful instrument (in version 3)! I love the appointment coming down from the headstock to the fretboard. Would love to know the brand or luthier. The playing, on the other hand, was a little too mechanical I think. This is not Bach, it's a jazz standard. Needs more air. More rubato. Otherwise, many thanks for sharing.
The guitar is a Phoenix by George Leech. As far as Misty goes, since you are not familiar with my work you're not aware that I don't consider this a performance because I am reading it and not improvising as I regularly do. It is meant to be a lesson, and the arrangement is purposefully played straight and mechanical with no embellishments etc. This is done so that you can easily follow along with the PDF and learn it first, before adding all the other elements. I say this in my videos frequently when I teach written arrangements. I also do it because in the past many students could not follow my arrangements when I played rubato or added single line fills and requested I play them exactly as written. On the other hand, what is wrong with Bach?

Thanks! I'm not sure if you meant level 3, however for the initial solo version I played a custom "Phoenix" by luthier George Leech. The other 2 versions are on a Peerless Jazz City.
