I noticed they when you swapped ammunition you simply changed the Magz but not the bullet already in the barrel. You found it strange that the AP rounds didn't make so much of a difference but doesn't this explain it since you were using the same round after just swapping Magz? Lol if I missed something please disregard.
Great stuff buddy! I was absolutely shocked at how effective the Stabproof vest was - makes me curious what changes will be made with the armour rework.
@@Luthais I actually made a suggestion for the armor rework on the steam suggestion forum, the devs liked my idea and said it would be implemented in some form, basically the idea is to emulate real life body armor systems by giving them protection tiers based on real life metrics like NIJ or VPAM, and making it so you have to find armor plates to repair armor instead of just using a toolbox. Armor will be substantially stronger, and would range in protective ability. Soft textile armors like kevlar vests would protect from handgun threats and buckshot, while stronger and heavier steel and ceramic plate armor would stop rifles. Armor would completely negate the damage from rounds that it is rated to protect, but only if the bullet actually hits the armor region that has the rated protection. For instance, when this change is implemented, the armor tac vest model would only stop rifle rounds in the chest and stomach, whereas the peripheral sections of the armor are only covered by Kevlar, so the arms, groin, and sides would only stop buckshot, and pistol rounds. This system would naturally be balanced, because it wouldn't just make armor much stronger, it would make it realistic and would help to increase the currently extremely fast ttk and extend the length and immersion of gunfights. You still wouldn't be safe from a guy mag dumping, or shooting you in the face or legs because the bullets would hit unprotected areas, you won't be superman, but you will be able to actually take a few hits and return fire if your armor is strong enough to negate whatever your enemy is shooting you with.
Great guide. Always wondered which 9 mm I should go for since it is one of the most common ammos. About the dot removal, those who abuse it, they most likely have other ways to put a dot on the middle of their screen: there are software out there that do that, and a lot of gaming monitors have a built-in dot that you can adjust the position to your liking - and that nothing can ever detect it - won't even show on stream or screen shots. What devs should do, is to make hip-firing far less accurate so you can never hit someone at 100 meters better than using the sights.
you don't have to burn bullets, just add " health %" to your spawn command. example: #spawnitem Cal_9mm_TR 5 health 50% and yes, as already mentioned: always clear the gun before changing ammo type - otherwise great video!
If you have a lower percentage ammo in a magazine already and then repair the magazine does that repair the ammo as well? just like when you put a crafted lock on a car or box it will be 100% when you take it off?
AP ammo shouldnt do more damage, if it was realistic it would actually do less ''damage'' because the holes it leaves are a lot cleaner because of the increased penetration and shape retention of the bullet but it also does have more penetration on armor, so it would do more ''damage''' on armored targets.
Nice info on the Field of View effecting target size, adjusting FoV can also remove your targeting bead and ability to aim in 3rd person. Would be much appreciated if you had a summary at the end of the viideo. So HS SF19 is the best when combining dmg and magazine capacity?
@@Luthais thank You very much luthais, i bught the Game a year algo thanks to your videos but i AM away from Home so i cannot play, so You keep me up to date :D lots have been changed ! Keep it up buddy ! Greatings from Argentina bud.
From a purely scientific standpoint, I don't understand how the new 9mm's do more damage than the .45 ACP rounds... I thought bigger rounds should always do more damage when shot from comparably sized handguns (meaning there's very little difference in bullet velocity). Unless I'm missing something about how these guns function, I can only imagine that the devs did this because they wanted people to try out and use the new guns a lot since their design is very clean, and the newer sights fit on them to make them even more sleek and versatile.
.45 rounds definitely need a buff to match 9mm and 9mm needs a little nerf just for balance as the .45's hold less ammo per magazine. And there is about 300fps difference in bullet velocity in 9mm's favor so it should be faster and penetrate more and 45 should expand more to cause more bleeding
In real life, a .45 will have more stopping power than a 9mm so it's VERY strange the devs balanced it this way. I actually would go so far to say it was a mistake and bug on their part. The higher capacity, lighter weight, cheaper bullets, more common bullets, higher velocity... is enough trade off for less damage. It's actually asinine. Devs need to FIX it ASAP. Not buff .45 or nerf 9mm... but FIX because this is not how it should be. Quite the disappointment.
Just as a nice to know. Rick in the walking dead had the .357 magnum colt python instead of a .44 magnum... Or maybe there was some other magnum that you meant.. Otherwise very cool and informative videos man. Keep it up, love them all. :)
Actually I believe in game the serpent 357.is supposed to be the colt python and the judge is just a modified serpent to carry .44 magnum rounds so it is technically correct to say the judge is Rick's gun
great test. I hope there's no change in damage with suppresser on? or is there 😆 also just so you know....when you loaded broken crafted ammo, the gun was already cocked with AP ammo so you never tested with broken crafted ammo.. I would like to see that as well in test
For me the Viper is the best one. I only use 1 pistol in the game and that is the legendary 1911 Colt.45 aka "captain price" Pistols you lose way to much time dealing with the bullets and mags. I would rank pistols "my own personal" Viper magnum .44 Serpent "Rick Grimes" another .357 Peacekeeper. 38 1911 colt.45 This are the best ones. For me The rest of the handguns are shit. If you play in the area in (A2,A3) it's so easy to find bullets for 1911 colt.45 There is a police station and an army crane base full of powerful ammo. Allot of .357 bullets and .44 magnum
I am new to Scum and I have found your videos very useful. Just curious, but will you be comparing the damage of the crafted guns and ammo? Keep up with the good work.
Your gotta take all ammo out of the gun as it loads another round in mag in to the chamber then you switch but you still have the previous ammo type just single load in these videos man you do the same thing every time great video but the numbers are not correct because your using ammo that is mag feed instead of single loaded
so i need to watch 45 minutes to find out how you rank pistols? where is the actual ranking, a list? i watched 3 times into your video but have no idea how you rank the pistols besides desert eagle as #1. and all your other videos are the same. sorry to say but thats pointless. please make it short and easy.
Yes, there is simply no ranking in this video. Would like to know if there is a difference between M1911 and Block 21? At the moment the two best weapons are SF 19 and Block 21.
I noticed they when you swapped ammunition you simply changed the Magz but not the bullet already in the barrel. U saw right
You are right. Gonna single load with the rest of the series.
Good catch reaper3k. Thank You!
Damn someone beat me to it! I was just about to comment this.. lmao

just for interest if you combine 100% ammo into 30% ammo it does bring up the total stack durability so in a way thats how you can repair ammo.

Hey luthais check to see if the damage is different with a suppressor on it
Will do 👍🏻
i was always playing the judge because i thought it hits the hardest, this proofs it :D

My pleasure and yes. If your a aim pro them the .50 Desert Eagle is the best for pure damage.
Learned a lot about the game thanks to you Bro! Thank you! One question though: Where do you come from regarding your accent?
South Africa
Can You like.... Turn appart the los % ammunition for materials, and with those make new ammo ?
No

You can repair low hp ammo by stacking it with high hp ammo same with arrows
Thank you for the tip
oh thats why my bullets has low durability :) I stack them with high to low ones :D

No suppressor doesn't and yes a few people let me know so will load one round at a time with the other tests.
This is great!

@@Luthais these videos have a lot of potential to get views but not a lot of people will watch a 40min video to see what the best pistol is
You cant really expect to take like 3000 foot pounds of muzzle energy, a bullet going like 2000 feet per second, into the chest, then to survive.

FFP only for PVP servers Pve doesnt matter
