  • Moringa oleifera is a fast-growing, drought-resistant tree of the family Moringaceae, native to the Indian subcontinent and used extensively in South and Southeast Asia. Common names include moringa or drumstick tree.

    In Assam we use every part of moringa and it os called "sajina" here. It is indeed very delicious and nutritious anyways, continue this good work "DOWN TO EARTH "

    I have developed a sauce using Moringa as the basic ingredient along with few other premium ingredients. Normally kids doesn't like moringa, but as this sauce is yummy, they love it. This sauce can be used for preparing several other dishes also dried pastas.

    Cook drumstick and jackfruit seed together with adding little tamarind dal turmeric ,,,,,try it

    Its easily available in the villages, every house backyard has this tree and in villages they are well aware of its use hence they consume by boiling leafs with water and they use that water for sambar and eat the leafs with frying with onions and coconut..but in city its hard to get leafs than drumsticks.

    Please check company from USA called "kuli kuli foods", we should have similar one in India as well. Kids can eat healthy food instead of chips

    I have been since childhood.....Both leaves and sticks.....In childhood I hate the most but seeing the importance of moringa will recommend the people in our locality.....

    This tree will be there in every TN house for sure ... we love Drumstick sambhar , Drumstick leaves , Drumstick flower ..even in one of our Tamil movie comedy this drumstick is mentioned. :)

    मोरंगा की विशेषताओं के कारण मैंने इसके बीज हरियाणा से मंगाए। देहरादून में शायद ठंडा मौसम
    होने के कारण चार पौधे ही बच पाए।एक पौधा काफी फल देता है । ये पीकेएम वैराइटी है । इसके पत्ते खाने से मुझे सांस की परेशानी कम हुई है।
