We are going to visit kashmir in 10 days . Can you recommend something to make better use of trip like sites to skip & must-visit sites .
For couple &5 yr old kid
You can cover go to Gurez but the cab cost is high. Views will be amazing. Keep Srinagar as your base and you can take day trips to Sonmarg, Yousmarg, Doodhpathri, Pahalgam and Gulmarg. Pahalgam - Better to stay a day as there will be lot of restrictions on time due to Amarnath Yatra

I noticed driver throwing trash when you were purchasing Nann. Why litter?
It’s the same behavioural problem which plagues people in other parts of India.
Our cab took us till Shaliganga parking (parking 2) for an additional two hundred rupees. We were fortunate since our srinagar hotel owner informed us before to negotiate with the driver to take us till parking 2.

Agar walking ki aadat hai toh ghum sakte ko. guide hire are lena, woh shortcut raste se le jaate hain.

We had booked by calling the hotel directly. Meals weren’t included in this.

We didn’t bargain much, hotel rates are always fluctuating depending on tourist influx so there’s very less scope of negotiation if it’s peak season

It took us almost 1.5 hours as we were in no hurry

If you directly go from riverside to the next meadow then it shouldn’t take you more than 45 minutes
Key 1 din me srinagar se dudhpahari cover korke pahelgau ja sakta hai?
Pahalgam kafi door padega. 3-4 ghante ka rasta hai. Aap 4pm nikloge doodhpatri se toh 8-9 baje pahuch jaoge

@sumantakumarsaha7756 It will be very tight as Pahalgam to Katra is far and driving in mountain region at night may not be a good idea. Discuss with tour driver once as many driver may nit be ok with this and might charge a lot.

You people look educated....please don't throw water bottles on roads. check your video again at 2.27 min
I saw that the driver threw the bottle and we told him not to do it,rather keep it in the car. We never throw any garbage anywhere but it is difficult to educate locals who are used to this for ages.
Plz don't throw the cold drink bottles here and there ,you'll are preparing a vlog ,so i think everyone is watching it.
Where did you see us littering anywhere in the video? It was the taxi driver and unfortunately we realised this only while editing the video. Rest assured, littering is a strict no when we travel, thanks for your concern 🙂
Kashmiri is truly very beautiful.... but there is so much of garbage and plastic thrown everywhere and slowly it’s going to make this place dirty.
