Install Realtek Hd Audio Driver Failure !! Error Code:- 0001 [Solved]

You might get an error "Install Realtek Audio Driver Failure || [Error Code: -0001]. No driver is supported in this driver package while installing the Realtek High Definition Audio driver on your Windows 11/10 PC. If you are installing the universal driver from Intel or Realtek website, you might get this error. This happens due to different on-board audio hardware on your motherboard.
To fix the error, you must download the Realtek driver's customized version for your motherboard.

can u help me . this is urgent. when i did the command it shows product version and then its empty no info whatsoever even the hp kind. is there a problem (i deleted my realtek audio because suddenly my sound icon has a red x and i went online to search how to fix and they said to delete it and go to realtek and more yaping.)

get the motherboard name/model from the details, search in google like - "ASUS PRIME Z790-P WIFI driver".
go to the website of your motherboard manufacturer. scroll/search the webpage for "Audio" drivers.
download it and extract it to a folder. then in the extracted folder search for setup.exe and run it. follow the steps and after completion restart the computer.

Unfortunately this doesn't always work. On my msi mobo there was a time I couldn't get the installed centre to open, no matter what I tried. Realtek is just very very bad. Only ' solution' was to install win drivers , than try Realtek again. Most of the times multiple tries were needed to make it work.
Also often I couldn't get on the 5.1 settings either, they showed up on win itself but I just couldn't use them on audio center. Microphone support is poor too. In the end I have it running for my 5.1 and I bought a DAC that now drives my headphone and mic over usb, no more hassle for that at least. I don't understand how something so basic like audio can be so broken, also on laptops.
Some updates of windows just brick your audio, this is beyond my comprehension, it's like it's a monopoly not caring for its costumers. I had audio probs in a hp laptop and yesterday I had it on my lenevo as well, luckily a new win update fixed what the previous one broke.....once more, sigh!

They don't update Realtek audio driver frequently, Microsoft keeps pushing new updates leading to uncompatibility. Sometimes, you have to try different ways to get the basic things working.
