I think these machines are getting tighter.
Think about how many spins a popular machine does in 10 years. A random group of 2000 consecutive spins could payback 40% which if you compare to normal of 88-92% might feel like it's not paying. However , the next 2000 random consecutive spins could produce the top prize X2,X2 3 different times or just a bunch of jackpots.
I was thinking the other day that maybe they're "tightening " the old 3 line games to get people to move away from them as they replace with new machines. Then I remembered what slot tech Mark from GS channel said in one of his videos.
The chip that programs the RNG will NOT allow ANYONE to program payback % lower than state commission standard. That is, the option to go below that number is not even available in programming .

I waited for the machine to give me advice! lol In the game rules, it actually tells you statistically when you should take offers, but it's still not fool proof. Sometimes if we are up and doing well, I'l turn down a 40 credit offer because of that chance of a big one! Thanks for watching!

I have watched thousands of Top Dollar videos, played it hundreds of times, and have seen Top Dollar hit twice ( 2 times ) after they turn down any offer that is 35 or more. Greg hit a jackpot a few years ago after he turned down a 35+ credit offer, and East coast slots had 1 about 3 years ago. That's it. Twice. Every other bonus where you turn 35 or more down becomes a lower bonus. Change your goal from "we're here to gamble" to "we're here to take every penny out of this bonus, so we'll take that 35 or higher credit bonus".
