If ur using a closed system via trach, and had the exhalation port closed, would they retain much CO2? Doesn’t seem like it’s necessary. I’ve left it closed and then done ABGs, and CO2 was fine. It’s like it cycles itself. Idk how a tiny hole would even exhale much CO2 anyway.

Do you have a part number for the piece that connects to the endotracheal tube and HME?
