Awesome way to learn how to fly (safely) with Dad...!!!....My father taught me primary skills before I got my driving license like most in the GA community I guess..,if he takes a nap while it's your airplane ,you know you're ok..!!!
There’s a little reverse button on the bottom of most treadmills actually. After years of training I was able to master the art of running backwards at a 3 flat pace.
Awesome flight. I know this isn't your fault so forgive me, but that XC race is insane. My sons wouldn't participate if it was like that. We've (east coast) modified all our XC races for covid and none of them start like this anymore. Designated spectator areas (your spectators are wayyyy too close) with required masks, and the starts are spread out into waves by times to help spread racers out. You guys are running like nothing has happened.
I’d have to agree with you on this one. Other than not being able to get to the start line until 5 minutes before the race, mask requirements, and spectator limitations, it seemed like a fairly normal season. Since this was my senior season and I had fairly large potential, not running wasn’t something that me or my family wanted me to do. With that being said, we definitely took precautions over what was “required”, and my season ended up being a safe success!
Even though it is a Cherokee Six, with the speed mods it has on it, it performs very similarly to a Saratoga FG. Instead of saying Cherokee (which could mean a lot of different models) we announce Saratoga to give others (and ATC) a better understanding of what speed we will be flying.

Let’s go with the win. Nice vid
Haha, thanks!
Great mix of videos and editing. Nice work.
Thank you very much!
Great video! Good mix with the flying and personal touch.
Thanks as always!
Very positive video. Thanks. But who's inhabit in the back seat? Josh's Mom? Some acknowledgment would be great.
Next speed mod - maybe some fancy pants for the wheels.
Already got that covered! They were off at the time of this video, but you might see them in others!
How you run backwards on tredmjl like that

Definitely the nicest courtesy car. Not some clapped out Cutlass from the 80s 😂
For sure!
My son ran XC in HS. Was that a "smelly" flight home? ;-)
Haha, not too bad

@@AviationFix I'm glad the season worked out well for you. I'm sure you and a lot of other athletes are in a tough spot right now.

@@Mr.Thermistor7228 you first
@@cpy mine is fine, you go worry about a couple teenage kids being 5 feet away instead of your desired 6 feet
Why do you call it a Saratoga it is a Cherokee Six?

@@AviationFix that makes sense. I was going to ask the same thing.
