I picked up my HS60 Haptics today. Agree with your review. The haptics are well done and great for movies and games. Not good for music IMHO. I like the simple dial that allows you to quickly adjust the level of the haptics to match the source. My first time using Icue software and it seems decent enough. The voice feedback for mic on / off is a nice touch. Small head and ears so it's pretty comfortable for me.

I’m contemplating in getting this I’m kinda stuck because everybody saying there’s wayy better headsets for the price I just think the concept is cool

@@Jay-fl2vy It depends. For just gaming, I think they're fine. I'm still not sold that it adds that much as far as immersion or directionality. The mic is very good IMHO, one of the best sounding and the software side tone and voice confirmation for muting is great. That being said, the haptics don't work for music, they just seem to be "stuck on" the music if that makes sense. So if I am listening to music, I just turn down the haptics all the way. Another point if you want to use them for music, you'll need to EQ them. Out of the box, the mid and highs are muddy and undefined. Movies, they're fine but like with games, you will be using the haptic "volume" wheel on the side to dial it in so it feels right.

@@PhilipChou well I just want them for gaming no music I’m making my pc Black Friday for like horror games and to play with friends to have fun casual use no competitive I just want a cool headset and the hs60 haptic seems unique and I just don’t wanna waste my money. The haptic technology seems really cool to me and people say it’s better than the razor Mari ultimate so idk I just wanna know if it’s worth it for casual gaming and having fun for a different experience

I got these yesterday (black friday $100) and have had the Nari Ultimates for going on 2 years now(aprox).
The Razer pair can definitely get louder and I like to have the choice between a wireless dongle and 3.5mm, Razer synapsse is garbage software.. the main reason I pivoted to Corsair. However, Razer does offer a little more software customization. The BATTERY SUCKS! Don't try using haptics and charging from 0% at the same time... it'll turn off and you have to long-press the button to turn the headset back on. The good news is that you can bypass Synapse and battery issues with the 3.5mm... but the haptics won't be on unless you turn it on before attaching the 3.5mm cord.
The Corsair set has WAY better balance when it comes to the haptics, it doesn't get as loud and you don't have to deal with Synapse. The build quality is on-par of course with Corsair products.... Razer is always meh, plastic, crappy glue etc... The earcups on the Corsair might get a little hotter... this may be one of the parts where Razer shines.
I'd rather use a lighter-weight, USB corded, better balanced haptic device. Razer is double the price for wireless and a little chroma, IMO. iCue > Synapse

I have Razer Nari Ultimate, and after using them for a bit and the immersion you get with them, i can never go back to gaming with normal headphones. They seemed a bit intense at first. After a day or two i had to turn the haptics way up. If you like imersion, and bass heavy music and beats.... Youll love haptic headphones. Theyre incredible.

These Headphones are perfect with DTS Surround app! Don't use iCUE, their EQ is all muddy and trash. The DTS sound decoder will do all the work for your sound when it comes to movies, gaming and music.

Does anybody know the speaker model of this headset? I need to buy a broken one with functional speakers because my right speaker is broken so I wonder if hs60 or hs60 pro would share the same speakers and connection as those are easier and cheaper to find

I'd wanna try it before I made the decision to buy, but that's the problem with newer tech like this. You can't always try them first, and something like this needs to be experienced to understand. It's the same as wanting to experience VR before dropping so much money on it.

The pulse elite from Sony on the Ps3 were some of my favorite headset because of the rumble. The naru ultimate good too but very heavy and not comfy. Yes these aren't audiophile, but they are 'fun' headsets of it makes sense.

I actually run the games with that haptic shit off. I bought the set for the sound quality but for me the bass is to deep and broke all the sound. This is good for that stupid edm music and similarly (most of people) listeners (boom-boom-boom same beat all the day, no music no nothing related to). Anyway I only bought this Corsair 4 days ago for making a comparison between a 100€ headset (4 days) with a 300€ one and I will return it tomorrow. I can hear clearly the difference I love it and I prefer to stay with Sennheiser Momentum 4 for the blessing and health of my auditory system🤣
