You are WORTH rewatching. Please do not doubt your value to us. Also, you are a person, not an art robot. There are many aspects of your life in addition to your art that we all enjoy hearing about. Don't change a thing.
Good to see this one re-uploaded successfully. Have just watched it again and will now give it another 'in the background' play to help your viewing hours total. Kind regards, Brian.
Nevermind those trolls. I watch your videos because they help me calm down and defocus when I have panic attacks. You have saved me from a lot of troubling thoughts and scary situations. You are doing good in this world, so please know that!❤❤
Don’t let ugly people get you down, they could and should just keep on scrolling until they find someone that is what they are looking for instead of making you feel awful. I love how you share your life and how open you are. We all struggle in various ways. You have inspired me to take risks and try a new art form (painting) at 47! Keep up the great work! We are here for you!
I’m pledging to watch or re-watch every single one of your videos and like and comment each one. It may take me awhile…. Try to focus on what you have achieved so far. You have 3 times as many subscribers as you had when I first discovered your channel!
Missed the first because work. Glad to watch this one to help algorithm. It’s hard to handle attacks from trolls. Easier to say ignore them when it isn’t you being targeted. Your viewers have your back. Do what you love. We are glad to support it. ❤
I love that you posted this again. I don’t think I’ve missed watching a video. Just be you, sis. I would love to take an illustration class but I will just have to settle for Skillshare, RUclips, and a course here and there. I love how your channel introduces so many art mediums. I have purchased so many in the past and just never tried using them. Your videos are inspirational. You’re doing great. Take joy in knowing that you are a blessing. Please remember to celebrate yourself and practice good self care. Us autoimmune warriors need to remember that we are mighty when we manage our spoons.
I watched 2 times ! I kept getting interrupted. And now watching again. It took 3 views to see it all. Now, to go watch a few more of your videos. Sending love and blessings 💖
Love your work on this. I had watched other videos on Caran D'Ache and I loved how you approached it. I also appreciated you shared how you tried to use gouache for plein air. Love the rewatch party!
Dover books makes copyright free reference photos for Artists and illustrators. They have those books at Barnes and Noble, or at the library, Or possibly used online.
After the first screening, I was so excited and I don't water color. I did order them and I'm waiting for them to be delivered today! As to those mean people (probably girls ) never answer them other than saying "thank you for sharing and hope your tomorrow goes better." Then clear your mind of their meanness and block and report them.
Take no notice of those cruel trolls who have nothing better to do with their very sad lives. You keep being you. I love your art and life videos. Keep making them you bring sunshine into this sad world❤
You should try an Art Tool kit palette. Leslie Stroz has a video titled “Innovative Art Supplies”. She uses a dab of vegetable glycerin as recommended by the owner of Art Toolkit. The glycerin apparently helps the gouache to not crack. I’d link the video here , but I have no idea how to do it. Glad you reposted this video. ❤
Hang in there! I just found you, and you are charming, creative and a delight to listen to! Don't get discouraged, please focus on all of the thumbs up and positive comments not the comments of the few.
So glad to see this video up again. Your artwork is so beautiful. I have the Caran d’Ache set, didn’t love it on first use but you’ve proved it can produce gorgeous results. I’ll have to give it another go!
I bought a pack of Meeden gouache tubes and popped the colours in a tiny travel palette. I purposely let it dry so I can take it places. You just need to take a little water atomiser with you and spray them. I dry them out all the time. All good. With relation to the issues you’ve having on the platform, don’t bother going through the negative comments. I’m an Aussie and I don’t like watching many American women just due to some of the accents haha… I do watch yours because you just be yourself, you’re honest and not a showy person. Just keep doing what you’re doing Amy.
Omg this video is so good I had to watch it again. Thanks Amy for all you do. Although I only do watercolour, I have learned so much from you. Love the extra outdoor footage you film for us as well… Looking forward to more. Lots of Love from Canada 🤗❤️👍🏻👍🏻
i love this video and i remember how happy i was because it seemed that your art block had finally dissolved. still very happy for you making it around that harsh corner. and i love, love, love the paintings at the end.
I have jetlag and waking at 2am I listen to videos to try and snooze back to sleep. Will keep this in my watch later list and listen while snoozing to help boost your algorithm back up 👍
This is the first time I’ve watched any of your videos. You are a phenomenal artist!! Your paintings are absolutely beautiful!!💖 I have subscribed and plan to watch a lot more of your videos.
for dried gouache, I am using the already panned, Stoneground Co gouache, available in the US through the store Wet Paint. My W&N designer gouache wet palette doesn't mold but my Schmincke Horadam black did and I sprayed with clove bud oil solution and it helps keep it from returning along with regular wet palette care. Good luck with your exploration.
I swear the algorithm hides my favorite people so I'm glad you reposted so you stay at the top.😊 with regards to trolls, and this is how i live life: "People " suck and aren't worth talking to. The ones who matter have names. They are there for you, are happy for you, and want to know YOU. So be you. ❤ Never let them dull your shine.
Iam so sorry for the deleted video , unexpected thinks happen sometimes, its ok , but i would like to say i really like ur videos , its so much fun to watch and learned a lot from u , thank u 🙏
Rewatching and will again and again when I can. The gouache is beautiful! Just enjoy it. I have a piece of advice for you. I hope it will help you. I recently got VERY sick and had many unknowns and thought I might not live through all of it. There were many visits to doctors, tests, and surgeries. It was all more than I could handle. It was then that I learned how to do this that helped me tremendously and still do. I know the mind can only think about one thing at a time so I decided that anytime I was worried thinking about my health, money, insurance, my family, etc. etc. etc. then I would purposely change my train of thought and think about something pleasant and happy to me. A lot of times I would think about my beautiful grandchildren. They give me so much joy. Or sometimes I would think about watercolor. I love it so much! Sometimes I would think about my husband and when we met and what a blessing he is to me. And always always I would think about and plead with the Savior for comfort and peace and I would ask him what he wants me to learn and what can I do? It has helped me so much! If I ever find myself worrying or upset about anything I change my mind to focus on love good things. It can only think about one thing and I choose happy not misery. Give it a try. As for my scary illnesses, I had cancer in my lung and had surgery to get it. It’s been ten years so I’m officially not worried about that anymore. But I also have polymyositis autoimmune disease. It attacked my lungs and now I await a double lung transplant. So don’t think you can’t talk about it with us. I do understand! And I am here for you! 🥰
Hullo Amy, I was having a very dejavu moment when I started watching and then I read a comment that mentioned that this was uploaded again! I hope you are doing fine. CaranD’ache makes very good products. These gouache cakes are compressed and will not crack UNLESS you liquify the entire cake! All paints that you dry yourself are affected by your environment. Unless you have a commercial extruding machine many paints from the tube will crack. You can add glycerin or a medium to keep your gouache and watercolors from cracking. Gum arabic is used in watercolor paints and gouache too. You can try these additives if you are having troubles with cracking or mold. I saw another comment that mentioned Sarah Burns she is a gouache maven and I have learned so much about gouache too! I am not new to gouache, but I believe no person can know everything and if you don’t use it you lose it! So my gouache experience is dated and I simply don’t trust it, as I once hated it and cursed its existence! Sarah has convinced me that I should be open to giving it a try. I am hopeful that you will continue to create and discover a gouache that will work for you. Stay positive no matter what anyone says. People are sometimes rotten and they are not kind. Saying ignore them is easier for those not under attack! Please take care of yourself and enjoy creating your art. Living a good life is the best response to those who wish you ill will.
I love your page!! I will keep on while I am working in my studio and while working my FT day job!! Try to stay positive and remember why you do this ❤️ sending love and hugs
Glad you reposted this video, I didn't get a chance to watch first time around. The colours look gorgeous ❤ so creamy and vibrant. I've just added to my Amazon wishlist. I've been wanting to buy a set of Gouache paints for a while now but haven't been able to decide which to go for, so thanks for all the info. My birthday is coming up soon 😃 so can't wait for your update as I'll definitely get these if they don't crack etc 😍
So happy you posted this again! I watch all your videos and usually keep on repeat! I work full time from home and have an art studio so I usually put your page on and just let play!! I also learn so much about supplies! I appreciate you! Keep your head up and try to remember your why ❤️ Sending happy positive vibes ❤️❤️
So glad you reposted this - it’s a great one! Pay no attention to the trolls; they are just sad souls who have nothing else in their lives and making others feel bad is what makes them feel better about themselves. Just ignore what they say, delete their comments and keep filming!
This was/is one of my favorite videos of all. I'm so glad you reposted it, and I'm going to play it as many times as I can. My first reaction would have been the same as yours, and I completely understand why you are so upset. But we're going to fight back for you and do as much as we can to help you.❤ For those critics, I'd say calm down, stop being so mean and go watch something else if this isn't your cup of tea.
Love these mish mash videos. Keep doing what is sustainable for you and ignore the haters. Your peeps will continue to watch the authentic you that we enjoy so much.❤
The books are beautiful, and so is your artwork. I have this set of paints too but I've only used them once. I need to get used to them. I like them though; they seem so velvety smooth.
I like Caran D'ache Neocolor 2. They travel well and are very bright and can e used in flexible ways.Neocolor 2 can be used as a pencil, a crayon, as watercolor, as guache and as pen and ink with a tiny brush and water.
Hi, I was wondering why this came up as a new YT video. Then I saw why.. Sorry you had a crazy viewer upset you..Some people can't help but be negative nellies.. I always enjoy your YT channel and greatly appreciate your insight into the use of different mediums and your lovely artwork.🎨💖🎨
